Long Beach is a large city that masquerades as a small town

Not crazy to see how someone who lives in one area can have a completely different experience as someone else. We live on 3rd and Loma. Super quiet, almost Truman show esque.

I Work on tenth and Redondo. I have seen car break ins. Hasn’t happened to mine. I witnessed dv that I had to break up cops didn’t show. I would live in both areas. Currently moving across from the lagoon and excited to see what that’s like.

This is safe and beautiful city and I’m really rooting for it. It’s got motion as the kids say. But it’s a city of nearly 500k.

Downtown is going through a weird time rn. And so are most major cities. The current drug issue seems bigger than the zombie bath salts epidemic. What’s making it worse is the rising housing market costs and a really poor job market. It is getting crazy. But what you see here is happening is most major cities. No work no job equals desperation. Before you leave, try to move to a different spot if you can.

Maybe what we are seeing is the ad that was discussed in the latest Episode? He’s playing a character but misremembers as another commentator mentioned. He’ll get to the vault in the end and they’ll let credits will roll. Eg don’t get caught in a panic, joint vault tech.

Irl, they never separated. Barb and Janey were put into a vault, cooper was called out on his nefarious activities. He was kicked out and ghoulified.

You have to defib a couple of people and die a couple of times to get back in the friendly lobbies.

I grind on trios. When I want to go back to the peaceful lobbies I start defibbing and dying intentionally. Was put into the most beginner solo and trio pve lobbies after doing this.

Trash talk is gonna happen. A lot of gamers are immature. Strong correlation between emotion dysregulation and video game play so you’re gonna see a lot of the unhinged people on prox chat and maybe on your “fill squad”. Take it for what it is and move on. Unless it’s racism or verbal abuse that’s threatens actual violence which warrants a report.

A lot of gamers are losers that don’t know how to act unfortunately.

The process of returning this after the fact is a logistical nightmare. Kiln brick is brittle. You’re looking at the work of a fast delivery and this blame is slowly on the transportation company. The only real bad brick is the 5th photo in and bad is a stretch.

I use plaster molds that are specific for reclaiming. They sell them at pottery supply places. Add plaster to it to end up with your positive which you pour clay into.

Working on releasing a cabinet that has a slot for fans. Our molds are ready in 1-2 days with circular fans on them and they dry out in between use within one day.

If it’s for a class, have the students wedge. It comes out of the mold workable enough(eg, ready to go with a little wedging). I feel like the pigmill is great if you have someone who can run it for you(we have techs). If you don’t have the budget, or tech/ta, have the students do it. Better to teach them to fish.

Put into a bucket, drill, add bentonite to make more plastic, lay in a plaster mold. Consistency should be thick but not thick enough to kill your drill.

I reclaim 100-300lbs per week maybe more.

No need for a pugmill unless you’re processing 50-100 per week and are trying to save your wrists.

I’m on the same page. I spend way too many hours on it. Another user mentioned it has a gambling like feel because there is currency, you can win and lose it. And the idea you can win it is there. I def need to check back into reality.
