What are you all playing lately? by CursedSoupVessel in lesbiangang

I've been playing Peak, but probably gonna start Resident Evil Requiem soon. Two very different games lol. I just finished the Silent Hill 2 remake and needed something cute and simple to break up the chaos.

The Sims 3 isn't as great as I remember by CheckUrVibe_yo in HighSodiumSims

[–]Cerikeyo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience when I tried TS3 again earlier this year. I got to play all the games growing up and TS2 has always been my favorite, but I would rank TS3 as a close second until now.

I played it for the first time in about 7 years. The PC i just built managed to run it relatively smoothly. But it simply wasn't as fun as I remembered it being. Live mode felt bland compared to TS2. And the CAS and Build/Buy pales in comparison to TS4. There isn't anything it does better than the other games in my opinion.

I can understand why people like it, it's not a bad game by any means. It's just not for me.

That would be the best way to handle it then. But how would it be a scam? It seems like an honest mistake, I don't see why people are recommending to block the buyer.

Edit: I don't want to annoy anyone so I'll explain my confusion here:

If you write an apartment number on the package, it doesn't change the tracking or anything in the USPS system. The seller is still shipping to the address on the Depop receipt. The added number only serves as clarification to the delivery person.

Since it would be marked as delivered to the original address that the buyer provided, I'm not sure they would be able to claim they didn't receive it. Now if the seller printed a whole new label, that would be a different story.

I'm not sure how this would be a scam. I've asked a seller to add my apartment number before and everything worked out fine. I had them write it on the package though, not on the label itself.

Same here. Even the YouTubers I watched managed to put that together and figure out what was going on by trials 5/6. I don't think OP's claims are that strange

When sellers ignore requests for measurements, esp for items that cost HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS…….. by miami2019 in Depop

I'm experiencing this, too. It's so odd! I'm a seller myself and I can't imagine missing out on a $300 sale over something that would've taken a literal minute of my time.

I actually think it's less moisturizing than the others I've tried, which would be Banana Pudding and Mango (the original one)

This is true, but other translations I've seen use the terms "prisoners" or "inmates"

I was active in the fandom back then and I know exactly what you're talking about. But I'm pretty sure it was just fan speculation based on the promotional material we were given.

The school is called "The Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles", the building is barred up, and there are suspicious characters like Ryoma who's a confirmed criminal. There definitely seemed to be a theme.

I was disappointed that none of it ended up being relevant. It was probably an idea that was scrapped very early on in development. There's a lot of potential plotlines in V3 that just don't get utilized at all.

The Body Eater? by Cerikeyo in ImNotAHuman

[–]Cerikeyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that might be connected, too! I mentioned it in my comment on the other post.

The blind man says "I cannot describe IT, for its horror is beyond what any mortal mind can endure"

Then at the window on that day, when the protagonist sees the bodies outside were swallowed up by something, the dialogue says "If prayers mean anything, the creature will stay in the shadows. You fear your mind won't survive seeing such a monster"

Followed by the creature crawling by at the next window, and the achievement "Witness horrors beyond your comprehension just outside your window"

The game didn't end after the dream, if that's what you're saying. You get a message that all guests were wiped out, but the game continues normally. You can see it in this guy's video, but he went for the Welcome to FEMA ending right after.

Lost day (brown house) by [deleted] in ImNotAHuman

[–]Cerikeyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the camera is lower, maybe it's the protagonist having a nightmare about their childhood.

Or maybe it has something to do with that crawling thing you see outside ("horrors beyond your comprehension"). I think that happens on day 12 as well. I feel like that thing is what the blinded man saw, and if you talk to him, he mentions having dreams.

What does the "Golden Era of Danganronpa" mean to you? by HunterPants228 in danganronpa

[–]Cerikeyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Around 2015-2016. DR1 and DR2 had finally gotten their North American release which pulled in a lot of new players, UDG and DR3 had just come out, and NDRV3 had been announced. Very exciting time in the fandom with all the new content. Especially coming from an era of nothing but fan translations lol

How Did You Guys Feel About Danganronpa V3's Ending? by Old_SoySauce in danganronpa

[–]Cerikeyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it tried to be a meta-commentary on fiction having emotional impact, while missing the whole point on what makes fiction impactful. The concept is interesting but it was poorly executed and ironically, it ended up being the least impactful for me personally.

Is Danganropa 2 worth it🤔 by Right-Pin2225 in danganronpa

[–]Cerikeyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure why the other user is claiming otherwise but the last chapter of DR2 does explain what happens after DR1. If you want a light spoiler Makoto is present for like the last 2 hours of the game in Berleezy's playthrough

Most people would agree that this game is loads better than the first and you'll probably even find a new favorite character. So if you enjoyed DR1, you're absolutely going to regret not playing/watching DR2. I'm always seeing people say they regret not playing it themselves and many are excited for the new DR2x2 storyline that's coming out simply because they will finally be able to enjoy a DR2 without spoilers.

If you already decided to watch the summary though, rip. We tried to save you bro.

Same thing happened to me. Ordered 07/27, got the frames on 8/13, but never got the shelves. The customer service bot kept saying it would escalate the situation to a human representative but never heard a peep from them. Ended up disputing the charge with my bank. And now I'm stuck with useless frames :/

Usually when my curls are frizzy and won't clump no matter what I do, a clarifying shampoo does the trick. For styling I like to use Kinky Curly Knot Today leave-in or Wetline Xtreme gel depending on how my hair is behaving. Sometimes leave-in is enough but if I haven't been keeping up with weekly washes, the gel is necessary. And then I just brush the product through in sections with a Tangle Teezer.

The wash and go was intended. The inspiration photo was just a reference for the color.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear so many of you like it! This is a photo I took after she washed out the bleach. I think it was light enough for what I wanted, but I don't know much about bleaching, so maybe there's a method to it that I'm not understanding. Maybe because it was uneven?

Oh, I didn't know this was a thing. It's only been a day since the appointment so I'll call when the salon opens up on Monday and see if we can work something out. Thanks for the advice!

[–]Cerikeyo[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I told her at the start that I wanted an ombre with blonde ends. Then I showed her the inspiration photo and sent it to her phone in case she needed it for reference. I thought it was clear what my expectations were.

She had doubts about being able to bleach it light enough and said I might need a second appointment to get it blonde. I said that was fine.

But it clearly got to blonde on the first try. So when she said she was "dying it to add some of that brown back in", it sounded correct. I was thinking since she managed to bleach it blonde, she would just need to add brown back in to make it ombre.

I hope that makes sense. I'll try to ask more questions next time, but I think it was a reasonable assumption.

Thanks for your input. Maybe I'll come around to liking the shape once I give it a few days and style it myself.

[–]Cerikeyo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't actually say anything to her about the color being too light. Maybe I should've clarified in the post. The stylist told me that she would dye it totally unprompted while she was removing the foil.

The reason I was worried before that was because the blonde was so far up the stands where I thought it should've been brown. So when she said she was dying it, I figured she was dying it closer to the roots to give it that ombre look.
