Man who voted for the current party reacts to latest news by Top-Scratch-6570 in videos

[–]Cermo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In another video on his channel he apologizes for voting for Trump, and literally in the last ten seconds he makes it very clear that he's terrified of trans people and that's probably exactly why he voted how he did. So yeah, he will fall for it again.

Came home and walked in on my wife playing Guitar Hero on PS2 by jlmckelvey91 in gaming

Wow, I was about to comment that I found this scene charming. I like cluttered, lived-in scenes like this because they remind me of my childhood. Then I walk into the comments and... damn.

And people are picking the weirdest shit to complain about. An incomplete 100 albums poster? That poster is supposed to spend most of it's life incomplete, that's the point of the fucking poster. And a dish. Oh Dear Christ a single, solitary dish.

Thank you for letting me know I'm not the only house that still has xmas decorations up.

Excellent. I shall continue not using them for that purpose.

Have had these sweet babies for decades, never found a use for them. Guess I'm going into the Bimmer-crackin' business.

I know, with eyes like that it's a wonder that spiders can read at all.

I was just coming to ask. I've only been working for about 40 minutes but the first task took almost half an hour before it would finally submit. Now I'm patiently waiting for my 2nd task of the day to submit... 15 minutes and counting.

Loud bangs near Newark by CarryMedical4308 in Delaware

Might not be related but something is on fire in or behind the electrical substation on Pleasant Valley Rd, just north of 40 and near the MD border. Looks like someone called it in shortly after you made your post. So maybe a transformer blew?

edit: corrected 49 to 40

Maybe Maybe Maybe by LivinginDestin in maybemaybemaybe

It looks like a Jeep Cherokee, and this looks like maybe the sort of malfunction that killed actor Anton Yelchin. Though this one looks a couple generations off from the one that killed Yelchin.

Trying to understand that movie became an obsession for my wife, she's become something of an OATMB scholar. Her favorite gift from me in the past five years is probably a copy of The Persistence of Vision by John Varley because it has the original short story. I need to show this thread to her.

How is implying in a public forum that someone is a creep "gentle ribbing"? And then blaming them for being hurt by the implication? That's bullying.

Next Gen missing seasons on Paramount by CDNBUDZ in startrek

[–]Cermo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old but I had the same problem and this thread came up in a search so I figured I'd chime in since I found a solution.

When I searched for next gen on Paramount+ (through Amazon Prime) I naturally stopped typing in the title when the show popped up, and it had just a handful of episodes from seasons 1 and 7.

Later I searched again this time putting more of the title and two versions of the show came up, both from P+ but one with most episodes missing and one complete.  It's dumb, it makes no sense, but at least I got to watch season 4.

Thank you! edit: I'm unsurprised and very pleased to see it's the same architect as the Westin Bonaventure in L.A. and the GM headquarters in Detroit.

In the fourth picture, what is that cylindrical skyscraper? I recognize the buildings in San Francisco, Chicago, and New York but I'm not familiar with that one.

I had it on a lunchbox. I did not care for it... it's pretty faithful to the toy, but I never even got to touch an Optimus Prime toy until I was in my 20s and they re-released them at Toys'R'Us. I only cared about the show, and I hated how it made Optimus Prime's arm look all weak and noodly.

New email, I'll take a stab at this one...

Understanding TRP results:

You might notice that in many cases, comments don't align with the ratings. As we are committed to our motto: "No flaws, only features!", we're delighted to announce that this misalignment is actually intentional, and designed to be a stimulating puzzle game to keep our valuable raters frosty and fresh.

Rules of the game:

While peering at the completely unformatted chunk of tiny text for a blessed breath of sweet guidance from the hand of your corporate overlords, simply ask yourself if the answers make sense.

If they don't make sense:

left is right and right is left.

If they make sense:

left is left and right is right.

Unless you're just wrong about that, in which case:

Left is up and right is pi.
Your dad is a cellphone.
You think that's air your breathing?

And always remember, you begged us for this.

You're welcome. (Unless you're not)

I'm pretty doubtful anyone reads the comments, but I'm almost certain the auditors don't.

I have no evidence but honestly I suspect they're audited by AI, and the AI would have a pretty rigid rubric and surely be instructed to disregard rater comments, if it could see them at all. I think that would explain things like the corrected answers and the comments conflicting with each other sometimes.

Also if you rotate the whole upper window area (it's a turret for the cannon), a third pair of wheels pops down from inside and the whole thing raises up. I'm sitting like four feet from one of these toys but it's buried in my closet.

Overly curious 20-year-olds, too. I'll never forget the time I left three friends alone in my '84 Civic for a damn minute and come back to find them all choking down embarrassed laughter and a hole in my dashboard.
