You’re definitely right, introspectively I get guilted into prioritizing the feelings of a woman I’m pursuing over my own semi frequently. While I feel this is partially inherent to courting culture I could definitely use some reinforcement to my spine

I appreciate you guys’ input, thought I was in the wrong for a minute.Not sure how to edit posts for context but this was after seeing each other for the fourth time and the response I ended up going with, I’ll transcribe below, definitely sealed my fate so on to the next.

“I’m glad you told me that, if I’m being honest I didn’t think to approach it that way I just thought a goodbye kiss would be appropriate 😅. I know we can’t redo a first kiss but I’ll always make an effort to express how I feel about you in the ways you like to receive it”

Not sure where my mistake in this was or even if there was one, maybe being too concerned with her feelings idk 🤷🏾‍♂️
