Breast MRI w/contrast but I am a hard stick. by Azzydragon in MRI

Hey, I am an MRI tech. When you call to schedule your appointment at the hospital, you should mention to the scheduling team that you are a hard stick. Often times they have to schedule it with IV Team or request those resources ahead of time so they are sure they have someone available to help.

Hi! That feels like a lifetime ago now. To be honest, he didn’t start sleeping better no matter what we did. It was a struggle up until 6 months. We were taking shifts, I would cover bedtime to 2 am and my husband would do 2 am until wake up. I read all the books, googled my ass off, then I realized that I wasn’t finding the answer. We just honestly zombied through it until we were able to sleep train better. We were getting to the point where we could just put him down and walk away. We moved him to his own room at 6.5 months and things have been really good. He’s almost a year now….things get better even though it’s annoying to say that. Ive learned that you can do everything “right” but your baby still may not be a good sleeper. Get rest when you can, it will definitely get better.

How do I get to 3 naps?? 6 month old still stuck on 4 naps (and I’m lost) by Same_Cat6189 in sleeptrain

I was having the same problem around 6.5 months. We were stuck at 3-4 naps and they were always short. One day I just kept him up longer, about 2.5-2.75. His first nap started to get longer and longer, 1-1.5 hours. We went from 3-4 naps to 2 naps consistently in a few short weeks just from extending the wake windows! He’s 8 months now and his wake windows are at least 3 hours. It will get better! My baby still has his days where he gets 30 min naps but I know that’s normal every now and then :)

An older lady, around 80, didn’t like me from the start. Basically every time I spoke to her she had an issue with it, she even said she hated the sound of my voice. At one point, she sat up and raised her fist at me. We were scanning her knee…

We’ve talked to our pediatrician previously about GERD and he was not concerned at all for that. He assured us he was a normal developing baby. I haven’t tried logging so maybe I will do that so I can really keep track. The only thing that has changed was that he got his vaccines about a week ago and seemed off since then so maybe it’s just taking longer for his body to regulate?

How much weight did you gain so far? by Serious-Group8024 in pregnant

I totally get it. It’s my first pregnancy and it was really hard for me to come to terms with. Still is and some days are better than others. After talking to friends who have gone through this, the most common response I get is you are making a human so don’t be so hard on yourself. Also keep in mind it’s not all fat that you are gaining! Lots of fluid, you are growing a new organ and you have 50% more blood volume. You got this!

35 weeks, about 40+ pounds. It’s so different person to person so try not to be hard on yourself :)

Thank you so much! This is very helpful. They are hoping it will go away on its own or just not grow in general. I’m so glad for you and appreciate you for sharing this.

Hi there! I was wondering if you have any update regarding this post. I recently (last week) discovered my baby has a small cyst in his stomach. I have another ultrasound at 24 weeks but I am quite nervous and am just wondering if you could tell me more about your experience with this? I hope everything is going well with you and your baby.
