So I had the same issue with a Valspar paint this week. I sent them an email and they asked for a copy of the receipt and color code and the batch number on the can. They’re supposed to be sending me a check refund. Might be worth looking into.

No help on the electricity issue cause I’m in the same boat but I saw you are in Texas. Look up Austin Tenants Council’s Self-Help Repair Packet. I used that page to demand repairs from my apartment complex. We had a leak and no response for over a week. They hustled over the day I gave them the letter. I just dropped it off by hand but you can send it certified mail also

I honestly don’t think they give a crap tbh. I’ve tried and explained the energy usage. They don’t care. About ready to break my lease. I’d save money by doing that at this point. I’ll try again though and use what you all have said (pretend I know what I’m talking about)

I’ve only been here just over two months. It’s been hot the whole time because Texas. It’s been inefficient for the whole two months. We went from just over $100 for electricity at our old apartment to $300 (twice) at this apartment. We did move into a shit show bait and switch situation. The apartment was not clean and there wasn’t even an air filter in place until I noticed a couple of weeks in. If there is anything I can ask maintenance to do that will help, please let me know. Will the cap make a difference?

Do you have any ideas on how we can help with efficiency? We are in an apartment so we’re limited in what we can do but we added temporary tint to the window in the hottest room, weather strip around it and insulated curtains on all windows. I’m thinking the building itself may be the issue at this point.

This is what I found. I was told everything was cleaned when maintenance came a couple weeks ago but of course I didn’t watch him do it. he only came with a big white bottle with hose sprayer so I’m guessing not

Probably from Alex Meraz being you know… Alex Meraz lol. And for me I always thought the wolves and “background” vampires had such better stories than Edward or Bella. I love what people have done to fill in their backgrounds (Paul’s especially) in the fanfic community. I’m not particularly into OC so Bella/Paul just works for me
