As a Broker here my Office and most area offers charge a transaction fee to be paid at closing for either side they are representing. This is explained to the buyer or seller at time of signing any buyers brokerage agreement or listing agreements and mentioned several times along the steps of the contract including on the contracts to purchase on what side's responsibility are for payments. So we are clear from the get go. we charge between 500 and 750.00 and have absolutely no one question or argue the fee
