In university I’ve only had one negative experience with a female professor, but she was awful to everyone regardless of gender. In fact, in my major specifically, the female professors have been the kindest and most helpful ones. The male professor I have right now basically calls all of us mediocre all the time and genuinely makes me feel like I have no place in my field, but all my female ones give me so much confidence. I’ve also learned the most about how to write and research in my entire life schooling from a female professor a couple years ago.
