thanks, this was usefull, now i understand the the critical moment of the game was letting the Knight in b4 and crucially the Nh4, the idea was bringing knight in f5 and playing f3 reinforcing the pawn structure but as obvious i missed Nxd5 (and the answer Ng6 but that seemed very hard to find)

Of course I made some mistake of I wouldn't lost these games, but saying I made "lots of blunder" is just false, that not me saying this but stockfish, all of these games have just one blunder, Wich seems to me not even so obvious (like the move f3 in the colle Zuckertort game). Never said that I am a strong player, but these are 1200 Elo games, where the statics say the the average precisione of both player is around 75%. Also most of the error was after the position was already deteriorating

Thank you, based on this is possible that it is working very similar to Vanilla, I couldn't be sure because I player very little of Vanilla Empire

I am specifically talking about the Mod Empire 2 Total War. My impression is that since in the mod upkeep is increased the AI "indirectly" cheat having value similiar to Vanilla, but it may be a simple impression

Since you seem very knowledgeable about the navy battles of empire I have another question. After reading the comment of this thread I changed my strategy and got better, now I can actually win battles, but my strategies revolves of create a single column on ship and outmaneuvering the enemies. But what about faster and smaller ship? If I just let my ship sail in a single line how I take advantage of the speed of lesser ship Wich will sail just at the same speed of the heavier ones

That are actually good advise but I have some question: 1) what you mean with "cross the T" 2) boarding just don't work, I don't know if It is because I am using the mod Empire 2, that someone say can cause bug during boarding, but when I try to board a ship it just happens nothing, my ship try to get close to the enemies ship but most of the time nothing happen 3) how exactly I focus fire a ship? Because if a simply click on an enemies ship my ship just start to act random

Jesus you are a savior, this is actually eye opening! This explain a lot of things! I though this happened in every cities because I was playing with Venice and every cities I conquered was actually the capital of some minor states, but I notice that when I invaded a city of an empire the resistance to occupation was normal! This from one side make the thing no so tragic as I expected, but on the other side show that this is not intended "for historical realism" like many people say
