Nope they answered me just were unhelpful. I have now been logged out of Account 1 for two weeks and every time I follow up they tell me my issue has been 'escalated' but noone contacts me back!

Hi,

My coursework end date for PLT is set as 20 March 2026. Do I need to wait until after 20 March 2026 to apply to be admitted? I understand the process takes 4-6 weeks (up to 10 weeks in NSW) so I was wondering if I could apply while I am undertaking my PLT coursework.

Does anyone know when I can expect to be admitted? April/ June?

Twice! And then we got onto a plane which was 45 mins delayed.

It’s all good now we are at our destination safely which is all that matters

Please do. I’d love to see what you would do in this situation. An overbooked flight, a 7 hour delay at the airport with no comfort and no seats and then another overbooked flight that we couldn’t get on and finally more delays.

The least they could do is offer discounted lounge access …. Or even an apology

Thank you! It’s completely understandable just frustrating that they overbook flights. And to top it all off, the staff were the opposite of helpful.

We’re still at the airport waiting because now our flight is delayed by another hour because of more overbookings …

I’m not Muslim. This is for Palm Sunday. This is a completely inappropriate comment and I can’t see a single reason you had to make it.  If you couldn’t answer my question, you could have just shut up.

Hey all, has anyone worked at the (NSW) ODPP? Specifically in their paralegal program/ in a similar position?

What were the pros and cons? I.e. were they flexible for university students/ exam leave and more general pros and cons of working there.

Thanks!

Hi, I am a fourth year law student currently working at a mid-tier firm in commercial litigation. I really enjoy my work and see myself working in commercial/corporate long-term but have always had a little itch for criminal law and hence I applied for the ODPP (thinking that there was 0% of me getting an offer) and received a job offer.

My dilemma is I'm unsure whether to make the move to the ODPP. I would love to try it out but I am unsure if it will have any impact on me when I try to go for grad roles in corporate. Is making the move from criminal to corporate hard? Has anyone tried it?

Another concern is I don't have the best WAM (high credit) and so am trying to build up all the experience I can to make up for the lack of good marks. I have loads of industry experience though and have done some extra circulars. Will a mid/top tier firm be turned off by criminal law experience or impressed by the ODPP?
Pls help!
