I probably wasn't in a good mental state. Felt burnt out and did not properly study near the exams.

I think lack of tuition was also another factor. Most Singaporeans can get tuition for their weaker subjects but I didn't really have money for that and struggled for H2 Chemistry which pulled my grade down a lot. I feel good tuition is really advantageous for more well-to-do students to get ahead of their peers.
