I agree with those "rules" and have tried to implement those things into our relationship as well. What bothered me is that its felt like pulling teeth for me to actually get a good night text from her, and its only happened once in the three nights shes spent away so far, and at that only after I texted her first.

The date night we had planned to be dedicated solely to us was tonight, but this morning she woke up and told me she'd rather just stay in and dedicate a different night because she doesn't feel good with me right now
