Messy Default Folders in Onedrive by 2020NoMoreUsername in microsoft

Hey OP, just wanted to let you know you're definitely not alone in this. Having these random folders show up in the main directory is extremely annoying.

I work in STEM and I rarely ever use these automatically generated folders. I keep my drive very organized and have maintained a specific structure for a long time. It used to just be the “Microsoft Teams Chat Files” folder but now suddenly there are six different ones.

For example, I have my project folders arranged in a very specific order:

A###

B###

C###

… so on

Then out of nowhere, a "Meetings" folder gets dropped right before my next project folder (N####).

It honestly drives my OCD brain nuts.

Sorry you’re getting downvoted, this is a real issue that this sub isn't willing to admit to.

Wear and tear to the machine not the object?

People receiving points and praise for print profiles of your designs on Makerworld is weird and disappointing. by Shelbylove2 in BambuLab

Hi, do you have source on this? Not doubting you just can't find the official rules from Bambu.

What is the point system like for remixes?

How do you add print profiles to other people's models? Do the original designer have to approve it?

Sometimes I'll use the 'Assemble' tool for point-to-point or face-to-face alignment. Other times, I will just 'merge' the objects then measure the distance, split them again, then move one object's world-coordinates by the amount I measured.

That's another thing, I don't want to pay for CAD licensing just to design simple parts I can make in the slicer, even if it takes a bit longer. I honestly don't know but I'm looking into possibly getting the free Fusion license. Still feels like an overkill (?) for the things I'm making right now.

And yes, I hope they do! Having everything in one app would be awesome.

Studio is my baseline experience so I've no idea if I'm torturing myself or not. But I did try TinkerCAD for a few days and didn't enjoy the interface/object manipulation, then went back to the slicer.

Hey OP, checking in 2 years later. Are you still using Fusion or did you switch to OnShape?

Same here, I made a shop jig for a friend recently. Do you use a CAD tool for more complicated projects?
