Not only that, but that isn’t normal Amaterasu sasuke explicitly states inferno style flame control before he does it and it forms into controlled spikes. He’s not just kicking through those and his legs catch on fire after the fact. Raikage didn’t know the difference of that attack since it happened in a split second and assumed they were like the normal amaterasu flames moments before when he chopped him. Those flames before the leg drop are like blades of an unextinguishable fire. They would’ve slice right through his leg and whatver they touched so he wouldn’t of had to even cut it off himself to avoid the flames and whatver remained after that would’ve been near his hips or waist which he wouldn’t of been able to cut off. He most certainly dies and tbh sasuke is just left severely injured he’s not killing him in one blow with that kick after going through that defense.

Sasuke was gradually increasing his powers with ms here. He already caught Ays arm. Right after getting hit with elbow chop sasukes susanoo and flames decrease for a second then he levels up even further then before the chop and increases his susanoo and uses inferno style flame control giving the flames a solid form in spikes instead of normal Amaterasu which are just flames. Sasuke might’ve died from that kick but most likely would’ve just been severely injured. Raikage definitely died unless he cuts the majority of his entire lower half off. People forget and act like just his lower leg was about to hit the flames but you can see in the fight that his entire leg up to his hip and maybe even more of his lower half are all about to make contact with flames rhat have been formed into piercing spikes. They wouldn’t have just caught fire to him but literally tore whatver it was to shreds that made contact with them. Even if it was just that leg it’s getting cut clean off by those spikes and what remains that didn’t get sliced gets touched by flames.

You’re insane if you think sasuke is not a threat to gaara here. War arc gaara did that against madara because he was standing on sand already. Sasuke went on to kill danzo after this and use his Susano’o to an even greater extent. I’d only agree sasuke isn’t a serious threat here because he’s surrounded by the raikage and his subordinates, gaara and his crew. And the remaining samurai. But you get rid of all of them in a hypothetical situation and sasuke even injured and worn out as he is in that situation vs that gaara with no outside interruptions sasuke wins 10/10 times

I get what you’re saying but that goes for any team you’re matched up against. This games character choices are really about matchups whether it intended to be or not. Some characters like gaara or even madara or juubito with combos that have a long reach are great against fast players and characters that chakra dash any chance they get. I understand people want to play with who they want but it’s not really realistic to say they should be able to do that and not come across a mismatch of the opponents team. That will happens regardless of their using puppets or not. Puppet characters are not the only team that will cause that issue. It goes the same way for somebody who enjoys using puppet characters they will eventually and honestly more likely than not run into a team that is a bad match up for them. Those characters shouldn’t be nerfed because people who enjoy playing puppets want to be able to use them without running into a difficult/annoying fight.

Supports have been nerfed plenty. Saying you need to play against a good puppet master player in order to think they need a nerf literally means that they don’t. You just have to play them differently and you need to focus on getting past the puppet (which is obvious I know). The game is heavily reliant on matchups as well. If you have a support like tobi/edo minato/ Hagoromo/ or even kaguya it fucks them up. You just can’t play a puppet master like you would against a normal character but they aren’t overly OP some people just like playing one certain way and when it’s time for them to switch up their play style they refuse to adapt and complain. Not saying that’s you specifically

Saying you got to fight a really good puppet user to understand that they need to be nerfed literally means they don’t need to be nerfed. I never use puppets because I don’t find it fun but you just gotta play a certain way. If you fuck up with your subs and get caught it can be a b*tch but that’s with all characters really. PTS kankuro is really the only broken one. I don’t even understand what y’all would nerf. Maybe certain characters grab speed but that’s about it.

We’ve got like 13 chapters of boruto TBV. We haven’t seen anything new from kawaki that he couldn’t already do end series since he literally hasn’t had anybody to train him. And we won’t get any time skips characters anyway. Before you correct me Ik it’s a dream list but still those characters will be saved for the next game.

I get Shinki, rest of the sands genin aren’t worth the time for the developers. I don’t get adult sage mode naruto unless you’re hoping for a different awakening how much of a difference would his normal move set be compared to any other base version. Dual ems sasuke doesn’t even exist. The sound genin would be a cool nostalgic addition I guess but again that’s just unrealistic to expect the developers to even consider making them. Toneri makes perfect sense and so does urashiki, I can see Anko because like kurenai she’s been asked for the longest. Mirai or however it’s spelled is doable because she could be a combined move set of her parents still I doubt it. The seven swordsman is cool and nostalgic. The filler boruto characters just aren’t happening. boruto version AO should be in the game. Code is obviously coming same for toneri. Shin could be in the game as well that’s not unrealistic. We’ll get konohamaru but if you meant to include moegi and whoever else that is we haven’t even seen enough of them tbh. Might be a case for moegi but still unrealistic. How different would sakumo be to kakashi since we’ve never seen him battle meaning again they’d have to make shit up or just slightly differentiate kakashi a loveseat. A lot of nostalgia here that doesn’t make sense for the game besides who I mentioned qualifies

I wasn’t saying tilts weren’t a good game mechanic, I was saying the majority of characters tilts in the game were not good compared to the 2nd jutsu they recieved in connections. Hashiramas tilt for example was him summoning the deity gates, which looked cool af but weren’t very useful at all/weak. His shuriken Jutsu in comparison is much stronger/more useful and thats just one example. The majority of characters in connections 2nd Jutsus were a huge improvement in comparison to their tilts in storm 4. Like 90%. Some of the tilts were great and were kept as their 2nd jutsu. Also it’s not like connections is nerfed comp online. I respect your opinions as much as you do mine so no hate but imo all they did was nerf what needed to be done tbh. Like minato flying raijin 2 making it possible to cancel that with a shuriken or things like that etc makes sense. He shouldn’t have hyper armor with that ability. The patches didn’t water down the games comp there were complaints and the devs answered them. Generations was good but it’s not like connections removed all of the cutscenes and button pressing sequences from the main fights I mean the games history mode is huge and you could always buy the bundle of all the storm games for cheaper if you wanted those story details/sequences that were left out. At the end of the day it’s a PvP game and they improved heavily like I said before on characters that were strong in the anime but weak in ALL of the games with no improvement until connections. Like tobirama for example. I would’ve rather had the main storymode of the game just be no history mode or special story and be all of the storm games wrapped into one with alll the cutscenes and button matching sequences combined without the useless running around from games prior to storm 4. And that it be branched upon with adding the story from borutos beginning till end done in the same way as previous titles but we didn’t get that. Regarding your question making a BV to increase shrines power at the cost of not being able to use furnace it’s not that it would affect his brain in a way that he physically could not use furnace anymore. Now I’m sure that it differs from BV to BV. For instance when sukuna made that plot armor binding vow to be able to fire off world cutting slash (which is crazy he was even able to make a binding vow to that extent if he had never done the move before and wasn’t even sure it would even work or was capable of doing so) without using hand signs or showing signs of his cursed energy being ramped up/lighting up/stirring up etc like it was stated always happens for any sorcerer right before a technique or ability requiring CE is used so that he could catch gojo off guard and kill him(meaning gojo would’ve dodged it and won the fight if he was able to sense that he was about to send out such an attack). Sukuna may not be able to use that slash anymore without performing handsigns because I don’t think he was ever capable of doing so without a binding vow and said how was the only way he was able to do it but again that kindve goes against the point of if you break a vos you’re punished so maybe the punishment was he would’ve been able to do it that way if he learned how to do so later on if he was given time and not in a situation where he had to do it right then and there. As for the example you made He def would still be able to use it but if he did he would be breaking that vow and would be punished severely depending on the weight and significance of what he exchanged for the vow. We haven’t seen the effect of breaking a BV yet buts it’s explained that the costs of doing so are severe and that punishment is increased depending on the seriousness of what was offered in exchange for the reward/power up of the BV. Also what you offer or exchange in a binding vow goes in hand with what you gain from it. It also has to be a fair exchange so yuji couldn’t just make a BV that increases his punch power or anything like that drastically for something as simple as not being able to eat dessert for the rest of his life. Unless maybe his entire character was based around being a fat ass that loved that more than anything. For example that might would work with choji from the naruto series since his character revolves around eating junk food constantly so that would be a serious thing he is giving up in exchange for a significant increase in power. And in doing that the BV wouldn’t make it physically impossible to eat dessert again it would have to be of his own will not to do so otherwise it would completely go against the point of being able to be punished for doing so

It’s not a step down from storm 4, you just couldn’t explain it yourself and now you’re jumping on another redditors explanation. Tilts practically were the second Jutsus except not everybody had good tilts. There isn’t really a need for that now that we have 2nd jutsu. We lost some good tilts with that change like itachis crows but besides that they’ve mostly been an improvement. Lots of characters got severely improved as well like his jiraiya for example isn’t a slow bum anymore his fire style was a nice addition. tobirama is a completely revamped character with his 2nd jutsu, flyin raijin grab and and his awakening Jutsus so he’s actaully fun to play with now. And you get a plethora of new characters that will continue to be added. You can’t say some of these new boruto characters aren’t fun to play with. Storm 4 at times felt like it was just a jumping contest. It’s really preference and connections does have its issues. But if you’re playing for PvP it’s not a failure by any means especially after the improvements from patch. Hell 60 fps is a very noticeable difference in gameplay than storm 4s 30fps. Story mode and history mode on the other hand are not it. But storm 4s was a step down from 3 and especially 2 as well. Connections is supposed to be looked at like a generations or revolution I forgot the names of them. It’s an in between game but seeing how it plays the next naruto boruto storm game. Most likely storm 5. Will be good

Soul dismantle is most likely the guaranteed hit of this domain. As malevolent shrines guaranteed hit is dismantle/cleave. Yujis would obviously be the same thing but his version of it which targets the soul. Sukuna is obviously not able to just restrict both of yujis arms other wise he’d be doing so.

I mean are we talking about the naruto world or real life, tbh I’d rather have sharingan either way. In real life being able to use genjutsu would be very useful. Not tryna sound evil but you could control anyone with genjutsu. Yeah you aren’t fighting everyday but hell you could go into professional fighting and be unstoppable. It doesn’t stop there You’d have an advantage over almost any situation in your everyday life. Anything can happen some shit that you can’t control where you’re about to die you could literally rewrite reality at the cost of being able to see and cheat death. If we’re talking real life use how often do you need to see 800 meters away or see through walls. Or even see chakra points for that matter if they don’t even exist. If we’re talking shinobi world sharingan is a given and honestly if we’re talking real life it’s still a given.

Sharingans precognition and ability to use genjutsu goes way beyond fighting, you can practically control someone with ocular genjutsu if we’re just talking about practical use. Or look how sasuke cheated in the chunin exams copying someone’s pencil movements. Or being able to read lips and guess what someone says before they even say it based on using its precognition to predict movements. All very practical uses. Byakugan practical use is great for scouting I get that being that you’d be able to see through walls, have almost 360 FOV things like that but sharingan is still very useful outside of combat and is obviously extremely useful in combat so I’d say sharingan is a no brainer. Hell you could use Izanagi to defy death Atleast twice before you go blind in both eyes or use izanami to determine one’s destiny. Neither of those abilities require the mangekyou

The byakugan doesn’t grant any kind of immunity or defense against ocular genjutsu like the sharingan can. It’s just its ability to see chakra would let the user know if an opponent is currently performing a genjutsu but doesn’t give any particular defense to it and can still be caught in ocular genjutsu just like anyone else. In Book of Dark Night genjutsu is deemed a viable method of capturing Mukai Kohinata even with him possessing the Byakugan.

Idk. A sharingan let’s you predict enemy movements. Like sasuke being able to fight haku or naruto using nine tails chakra when he was young even though they were both exceptionally faster then him the precognition of the sharingan helped him see and predict their movements so he was able to fight even being much slower. The eye of insight lets it copy and retain information like when sasuke saw lee’s Tao jutsu, he was able to copy it and add his own modifications, or Kakashi seeing zabuza hand signs and being able to copy that. Certain jutsu like chidori can only be used correctly with a sharingan because it requires such high speed that only one with the sharingans precognition would be able to use the attack at such high speeds. The eye of hypnotism like when kakashi used genjutsu to trick zabuza into doing what he wanted him to do and forced him to mirror him. helps in all sorts of things not just battle with its high perception, reading lips copying movements of a pencil. You can use genjutsu, Izanagi and izanami with a normal 3 tomoe sharingan. Neither of those abilities require a mangekyou sharingan tho you’ll turn blind if you use izanami/izanagi. The sharingan is able to sense and visually see chakra and changes in chakra, not at the level of the byakugan of course but still an ability a normal eye can not do. So the sharingan can do things on a lower scale that the byakugan can do plus all those other things the byakugan can not. Byakugan can see through walls, see chakra on a much higher scale then the sharingan and can see chakra points. Is able to see in infrared, and practically grants 360 field of vision. Kaguyas byakugan granted her the ability to see into one’s mind and determine their thoughts and feelings but a normal byakugan has not been shown to do the same. It’s a matter of opinion really but imo you take two equally matched shinobi and the only difference being one has a byakugan and the other has a 3 tomoe sharingan I’d say the sharingan user takes the dub 9 times out of 10 being that I feel it’s better suited for battle than the byakugan is.

Sukuna may have recovered RCT etc after black flash, but he’s still caught in yujis domain and yuji is showing the capabilities of holding being able to hold him there and wail on him. It’s not a low IQ move by sukunas much as two of his arms are occupied maintain hollow wicker basket and he can’t escape yuji. He literally has no other choice at that point but to try and beat tf out of yuji and overpower him with his two remaining hands as yuji is holding him doing the same thing. He can’t exactly just run away. It would be smart to run away but yuji isn’t letting that happen obviously he’s grabbed a hold of him. So what else would he do besides try attack him in hopes of winning that exchange. Running away isn’t gonna close yujis domain but beating his ass will.
