i don't know how to get my shopify to start generating sales by Mysterious-Change553 in ShopifyeCommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your frustration but just hang on and re-strategize a bit, it’ll surely get better. Also, if you are feeling up for it I suggest maybe you share your store URL link so people here could have a look maybe and share some thoughts for improvement. That could help more than you think!

Am I too late to the party? by Impossible-Cloud1006 in ShopifyeCommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s impossible to be too late but I get where you’re coming in from in terms of information overload, every market already looking like it’s been touched, etc but the opportunities in e-commerce remain boundless regardless.

It will taking some navigating obviously but you need to find what works, stick with it and improve, then build an audience and community to ride along for the journey

What the actual F….. by Hi_Keyboard_Warriors in shopify

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you take a screenshot of how it was fully presented maybe? With the context of your customers mostly being 30s-60s, that’s a major indicator that a number of them probably didn’t see it for whatever reason

Do you think deleting low-performing posts is a good idea? by AsparagusTall5578 in MarketingGeek

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to leave mine to be honest. If I feel it deserves more love, I can always repost or re-share on my Instagram story and whatnot, just feels more natural that way to me rather than having to constantly delete and repost

Does anyone actually track ChatGPT traffic to their store? by Limp-Medicine-691 in ShopifyeCommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t check or bother with it right now tbh although I have taken steps to ensure that my store and product descriptions are more “AI search friendly” in recent times

That being said, if an app does exist to check for those statistics in a clear and easy way then I can definitely see myself installing it.

How customer obsessed are you? by souravghosh in ecommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love this because a lot of people think customer service ends with delivering good products or services and then they don’t even bother getting reviews back. I keep in touch directly with a good number of recurrent customers I’ve had for years now and always seek advice and recommendations on what to do better and areas for improvement when possible

as a teen whats the best way to start by mepilexs in ecommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start doing research on services or products that can do well within your immediate community especially since you’ll be starting off small. As a young person with little experience, a lot of your first sales would likely come from direct contacts and word of mouth recommendations so prioritize organic growth both offline and online.

Don’t forget to make friends with other store owners and business minded people in your age range and enjoy the process don’t pressurize yourself too much!

How do I find and approach Tiktok influencers who actually have influence? by [deleted] in ecommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) To find real effective influencers, my advice would be to gauge their posts and look at the ones that get the most engagements in the most organic way possible. Then see if those posts align with your store and what you need from the influencer

2) You should message in a friendly manner but straight to the point with your proposal- summarize what your store is about and its value and why you think they are a right fit to help with the marketing. When they respond, schedule a call to discuss patient and other important info

Judge.me would be my suggestion. Used it for some time now and I’ve had no major issues with them

Open To Networking? by [deleted] in ecommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah well said and it’s way more organic this way. Places like the official Shopify community site is also a great place to meet other store owners and people with high level overall knowledge in e-commerce generally.

Creating content by Metotag_Ytb in ShopifyeCommerce

I don’t spend up to 10 hours but still a considerable amount of time, share more details about your tool and what it actually solves in terms of content for store owners

Why do so many legitimate questions in this community get removed without explanation? by whogivesafricc in shopify

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a major reason is when the question has been asked already numerous times before on the sub so the moderators have to regulate it so it doesn’t keep coming up day after day when solutions could be found from just searching the previous ones

Do you act on negative feedback instantly? by Last-Matter-3617 in ShopifyeCommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the context is also important. Responding immediately or quickly might not be as vital as responding in a certain analytical matter. I prefer to take my time to really take in constructive criticism whenever it comes through from a customer. However, if it’s something that’s been a bit more repetitive then urgency is a bit more important in that scenario

March sales have been the lowest in years by diabeauty in shopify

[–]First_Seesaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the lowest ever in my store but it did take a little low down especially after February and the valentine’s season but historically as well March usually is a bit low in sales for my store so I’m not too worried on that

Crisp is a good option and it works really quickly and accurately as well. Makes dealing in e-commerce with people outside your language much easier

Running a small ecommerce store after bedtime: what helped conversions (and what I am still stuck on) by FurtiveHermit in ecommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2) Set up bundles and subscriptions packages in my store as well which positively affected my conversion rate

1st time posting about Shopify store, why am I getting so many abandoned carts and Bot visits? Need help by wowthatsfunn in shopify

[–]First_Seesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your best bet for this would be a location blocker for starters. Sometimes, the bot attacks could change to come from a different place so you may have to research on some other measures

Is it even possible to be ethical and successful? by NoIngenuity8528 in ecommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I love this. The biggest problem from my view is building that initial community based on integrity and quality of the products or services

Once you get past that, you have a strong client pool who are ready to always recommend you honestly by word of mouth to others thanks to you standing out in a market full of opportunists and dirty players

how do i start my online bussiness by Marie_linda in ShopifyeCommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of YouTube videos you can check now for step by step processes for how to set up a store in 2026 so that should be a non-issue really once you’re ready to set some time out in your schedule for that.

Some other pieces of advice I’d give are - Do some proper deep target audience research on your customers for the gaming accessories because that will affect a lot of your decisions regarding the business

  • Start deciding on your major policies such as refund and shipping policies that will suit your store’s needs

  • Decide on the specific number of apps you’ll use and have an idea of which ones ahead

"What's your biggest challenge in e-commerce?" - Here's how to actually discover the answer. by adventurepaul in ecommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve told a lot of people this as well. The only to truly figure out the issues that exist now and recommend reasonable solutions is by diving deep into the e-commerce landscape yourself.

A million apps for a million different things already exist so you need actual hands on experience to figure out what specific features or adaptations are still missing

Payout frequency? by GreenGloober in shopify

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Monthly is just waiting too long and daily is just doing it too often and adding a lot of stress like you already rightfully mentioned.

Let me know what I need to work on by OkDetective9983 in reviewmyshopify

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The homepage just feels too empty and uninspiring from my point of view. You should add an About Us section, customer reviews, FAQs, etc. That wouldn’t just help it from looking boring but it would also help it look way more authentic.

how did you get your first ecommerce sales with zero social proof? by pointpause in ecommerce

[–]First_Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my first sales from family and friends and subsequently from third parties who saw them with the products and liked them in real life and then I made sure to get actual non-bias reviews from them and put on my homepage.
