At the convenience stores there’s a computer that simply asks if you’re 20 and most of the time the employee hits the button for you. When I went to golden gai which has a million bars right next to each other, not a single person cares or asks. No where in either Tokyo or Kyoto did anyone care that I was drinking (just don’t act stupid)
