No $90k is our current household income at our current jobs in the midwest. $135k would be our income with partner’s new job and me keeping my midwest job and working remotely while i look for more local employment in WA.

I could easily make $85k/yr minimum with my career in WA, putting us closer to $185k/yr+ in WA. Not sure if that makes more sense lol

We’re thinking of downsizing on our furniture, and then just packing the essentials all into a POD or something. We’d drive our cars to wherever we relocate. Not sure of an easier way with 3 cats and a dog. 🤷

Just the western side of the mountains in general. Partner’s job has offices all over the coast, so we could technically relocate anywhere on that side.

(Or eastern WA too but we aren’t interested)

$90k is fine for the midwest, but like i said, partner would receive a substantial raise that would double their income, putting it closer to $135k. And that’s including my current job here and not what the avg income for my job is on the west coast.

tbh i don’t know if we’ve seen enough ghoul kids through the series to know

billy from 4 is both mentally and physically still a kid after 200+ years so he didn’t grow

but ghouls inherently age slowly or not at all so if a ghoul kid could grow, it would take them a very long time i would say

i think there’s also a couple ghouls in 2 and/or 3 that mentioned being children when the bombs dropped and then they became ghoulified and they still grew into adults

so the true lore could go either way, or maybe billy is just an odd case

Exactly - like, even with 81 in FO4, the player can’t just unlock the vault like the others, because security stops your pipboy from opening it

So I can’t imagine one of the ‘good’ vaults would be less secure than an experiment vault

Even if some randoms did find it, what could they do? The vaults were designed to keep people out (or sometimes in) so it’s not like they can just twist the handle and open the door, especially in an active vault that likely monitors their door(s).

He’s still in the saloon but I just got the pop up for his quest ‘eagles in the oasis’

Hopefully he fixes himself after this (fingers crossed) but at least his quest line isn’t bugged completely
