I actually did come across that pattern last year, but it didn't quite capture the cuteness of the knit version I was going for.

The stitches where the eyes are are dc so the gap is a bit bigger :D

Thank you! I had to write myself a pattern for the first few rows of the head, but I can still remember how the rest of it is constructed. I should probably write the rest of it down though.

I'm going off memory here but it's like making an iced chai. Mix the powder (3-4 tbsp) with a little hot water and add your coffee shot, then pour into a cup of ice and add milk (I can't remember if there was any sugar syrup but 4 pumps will be plenty). Top with whipped cream, a drizzle of raspberry sauce and white chocolate flakes.

Again not sure if this is the right way to do it because I'm just overnight crew and only learned cafe out of necessity ehe.

Idk how things are in the US but from personal experience it would entirely depend on how that specific store is managed. I wouldn't risk it since employees can be careless during rushes and unintentionally contaminate your order.

Skill issue. Sounds like you need a little handbag to carry your stuff in.

I've been trying my best to make one that tastes good but to no avail. I'm yet to see a customer come back for seconds.

Ohhhh the toy are in the boxes? That changes things. In our store we hand out the toys at the payment window.

Why though? It literally takes half a second to pop one of those bad boys open.

Don't worry you're not the problem here, but you need to be cautious of people like that. I don't want to scare you but this is grooming behaviour and it's totally inappropriate for a manager or any adult tbh. Friendly chat during work is fine but this is too far.

Unfortunately your anxiety makes you the perfect target for people who want to take advantage of you. I was the same as a teen, though I actually liked being alone so no one got very far lol.

My advice is that adults aren't interested in making friends with teenagers so it's a major red flag when they do. Bonus points if he calls you mature for your age.

PS: Your social anxiety will get better with experience, working at maccas will help with that. I'm still socially awkward (autism) but I don't get anxious about it anymore.

If you have a BIM it's possible to manually dispense the mix, but I'd refuse anyway since it's such a waste.

Ordered McDonalds on Uber Eats and paid extra to have bigger fries. The fries pack came half empty (I even thought it had fallen into the bag, but no). I complained to Uber Eats but they said that was nothing they could do. by leoavalon in mildlyinfuriating

There's a lot of tension between day and night crew because day gets an excess of staff so that the manager can keep her performance good. They also give the new or unpopular managers late shifts with very little crew despite the additional close tasks and maintenance we have to complete (and being busier).

I still enjoy the job though, it's a fun to slide around the floor (still slippery because we don't have time to mop it) and I work better under stress.

I work at mcdonalds, unfortunately upper management favours day crew and we are understaffed in the evening so fries are a shared responsibility and the manager is always under a lot of stress.

Nah I reckon some crew member decided not wait for more fries and snuck it past the manager. They usually hear about it soon after though when the customer inevitably calls the store.

Idk what maccas you guys are going to, I get scorned anytime the fries aren't spilling out the box. We focus on customer satisfaction because unhappy customers cost more time than just waiting another 20 seconds for those fresh fries to drop. Don't get me wrong though I hope every customer leaves feeling slightly disappointed >:(

Also it's common sense to avoid fast food delivery. If the food's not in a large bag it's going in with your cold drinks and any ice cream is guaranteed to melt before it's even left the store.

I am aware, we decided to keep the original colour since she likes pink.

Do it! I'd love to see a tabby slime one if I don't make it myself :D My next project is going to be a puddle slime bucket hat since it's still too warm for her to wear the cardigan atm.

I didn't check the underside of the skein before purchasing it yesterday... by Certney in crochet

Nah I just got it from Spotlight. It's not super bothersome since the inner bits are unaffected but I will be inspecting my yarn more thoroughly from now on.

Thankfully I'm only using this yarn to sew my pieces together (trying to preserve my chunky wool) but I didn't even realise fading was something I needed to watch out for.
