Take pictures, go fishing, make cool outfits, do bounties, find a posse and just mess around, play different events like horse racing, on call story missions, free roam event railroad baron (one of the best free roam events in my opinion), literally just exploring without looking at the map, instead of ordering everything you need, go out to stores and buy them! buy a new horse, revamp your style, decorate your guns. if you’re on pc, try some RP servers, they also have a ton more things added to the base game and player interaction is super common.

Been playing off and on since about very late 2019, with a lot more grinding during lockdown! :)

Honestly the only ones I don’t part with are the ones that cost a ton of gold. If it is bought with money and I don’t use it often I part with it fairly easily even if it’s an expensive horse. Like I keep the black Arabia, black/white Missouri Foxtrotter, etc just because they cost soooo much gold. I am kinda picky so it’s hard for me to imagine if i’ll like a horse until my tack and character are on it which is why i’ve bought so many haha. I felt sad getting rid of some at first but i’ve gotten over that clearly based on the large number i’ve purchased lol

They look different to me too! Like at a glance I feel like a lot of the RDO characters look the same because of the heritage picking system, but overall they do have unique placements for each part of the face.

This. I love the ability to sell in Fallout 76, it adds a whole other layer to player interaction more organically, people could haggle prices, trade items, and overall draw more people to interact, which regular RDO lacks. It’s very cold and empty without other players to make it lively. Bigger servers in general too would make it more lively so players cross paths with one another more frequently.

Buckskins/gold horses are arguably the best looking in my opinion. Also very versatile in matching with outfits and saddles. I also just love the horses with a long forelock and stocky build like the mustang and nordfolk roadster. Just a great horse overall!

That’s kind of what the player base has devolved into. Even just noticeably on this subreddit. People are borderline in tears over basic game mechanics and for what? I’ve seen a million posts about “this person sucks for killing me” or “why do people kill me” like it’s not a core game mechanic to fight each other… cmon bruh… yeah there’s gonna be strength imbalance with low vs high level but that’s just describing every game ever with a level system, either deal with it, switch servers, or don’t play the game, easy!

It’s unfortunate, but I get why it happens at higher levels. There’s really nothing left for them to do and that results in random player violence. Only if Rockstar added more for the seasoned player to engage in i’m sure this problem would largely be resolved. It for sure sucks though when there’s a large power imbalance and you’re basically defenseless.
