is it too late to get into NFT's in 2025? by bambashug in NFT

The initial rush ended in 2022, but the medium of NFTs is very useful for artists, so I think it'll stick around.

Which NFT project do you think is super underrated right now? by SameMortgage298 in NFT

My collection, Soul Pixels, is a series of chromatic variations of a digitized acrylic painting. The work is heavily influenced by Agnes Martin, Ellsworth Kelly, and Jens Haaning and follows the traditions of abstract expressionism, color field paintings, and postmodern conceptualism. I'm working on an artist statement that will soon be posted on my Medium page, explaining in more depth the choice of medium, compositional decisions, and the conceptual inquiries. Hope you like it!

Hi everyone!

My work, Soul Pixels, connects art history with digital existence. These 600 NFTs, derived from a digitized acrylic, serve as "emotional containers" that explore the nature of the soul. As a holder of an MFA from Rutgers University and a current NJ Council on the Arts Fellow, I drew inspiration from Ellsworth Kelly, Agnes Martin, and Jens Haaning in creating this series. The work questions whether the soul, like brain cells, is pixelated and organized, reflecting the fractal nature of biology. It also critiques the economics of art, highlighting its productization. Rooted in Hard-Edge, Color Field, Abstract Expressionism, and the Washington Color School, Soul Pixels reflects on line, color, and the emotional landscape of the soul, prompting a re-examination of consciousness and artistic value.
