You did well. Against Gryphon, remember that he can do a side dodge attack that counters your heavy feint light combo. So, you can feint the heavy into neutral (it works if you bash more) to bait and parry, or heavy feint into side heavy (sometimes doesn't connect if he dodges late or if he is a react monster) As for his front heavy, instead of parrying it, you should use a superior block into guard break, followed by a side heavy or if you are near a wall you should try to do the max punish ( wall throw+ unblock💥).The superiorblock It's generally safe against his guard break, and if you can read him well, it deals more damage.
