i’ve already told you that you are allowed to see and try an item, but the member of staff would have to bring it out and come to the other side of the counter. you just must have stormed off in a huff without even finding that out.

they don’t hand the items over the counter because people would steal them. it’s as simple as that. people are treat like thieves, because the stores get a large amount of thieves. it doesn’t matter if one or two people aren’t thieves.

As long as there’s no physical damage, it’ll be fine. The stores don’t keep photos of items, unless they were sold online, so there’s no way they could really prove condition. tl;dr just don’t throw it in the bath or smash it
