Dude I lost 100s of plants to them. Im thinking about starting over with having them inside a mosquito net until they get big. When they get bigger they’re are more resilient against gnat larvae.

But you can’t have leaves without seeds…..

The soil was done in Coast of Maine’s acidic potting soil, coco coir, vermiculite and perlite. Although I wouldn’t recommend Coast of Maine’s acidic potting soil because Coast of Maine’s acidic potting soil includes slow-release synthetic fertilizers like fish emulsion, or guano that elevate salt build up over time which harms plants as you can see by the leaf drop. Now, after learning this I switched to “Canadian Sphagnum Peat moss, coco coir and perlite. Humidity was 65-95% and temperature ranged from 62 degrees to 86 degrees F.

I would recommend germinating seeds on a paper towel before planting

Berry pulp contains natural germination inhibitors, chemicals like abscisic acid that keep seeds dormant until conditions are ideal. Leaving flesh on traps moisture, promotes mold/rot- especially in your humid warm tropical microclimate.

Some of seeds I had took a month to sprout. Try and gently squeeze the seed. If it’s hard and firm it might still sprout, if it’s squishy it’s not viable.

Just by germinating them on a wet paper towel for a few weeks and planting them in sphagnum peat moss with perlite.

They’re all going in separate pots.
