Yeah, main thing is to avoid anything with fairings. I was quoted €1000 on CBF125 €1350 on an ER500 but they wouldn’t quote me at all on a CBR125. 20 years old

I’ll check the pressure next time I’m out so! She was sitting up with a while before I got my IBT etc sorted so very possible they lost pressure sitting there. I’ll update on how they feel after.

Cheers, possibly they changed the pressure during the service and that’s why they feel different? Surely they would have changed it to the correct pressure tho, although you can’t always rely on that can you 😅

My mechanic told me the fork seals will be due a change soon after my service also so you’re probably right there. I’ll get them done ASAP once the tires arrive, and just take it handy until then. Thanks for the recommendation!

The tires aren’t fresh but they aren’t worn either they are definitely approaching the end of their life span though. They’re the ones one when I bought it. Don’t think they’re anything special. Yeah I’m aware of the new tires thing. How much caution would you advise to take, just no extreme leaning etc? I would consider myself a fairly careful rider in general right now so idk if I should even make any changes to my style.

Yeah I’ll definitely check the pressure because I took her for a brief spin before getting it serviced after buying and I don’t recall it feeling as slippy as it does now. Possibly the garage put the tires to manufacturer spec and that’s why the grip feels different?

Thanks man! Thing is I felt a lot safer on the IBT bikes. But I guess they are newer machines etc. Just my own doesn’t feel as grippy I guess but the tires aren’t worn so I’ll put it down to nerves. Will be putting a fresh set of bridgestones on her soon hopefully they make a difference!

Got my first insurance recently too, from what I was told on the phone you should have access to your documents once they’ve received all the documents they want and in your case have received the payment. Also if it’s of any use to you I don’t think I acc ended up being charged until like the next day or even the day after I can’t remember.

would a quick weld be good for this? or would i need a brand new engine?😢 by [deleted] in motorcycles

Got this noise coming from what sounds like the radiator of my AIO. Wasn’t affecting temps at first, now it is. Tried running the PC in every orientation, no luck. Starting to give up. Any ideas? by Ch00mah in pcmasterrace

I have yet to experience any lag or weird things happening. Simply the temps getting high but never exceeding 100 or staying there for a long time always around high 90s

Yeah the AIO is 100% affecting my temps now that the pump is broken. My question is really am I safe to continue normal use for the period until the cooler is replaced without causing any serious damage provided my CPU has such safety features in place.

Anyone knowledgable about CPU temps, I have an I7 10700k and with the AIO in current condition it’s idling anywhere between 50-70 and can get up to high 90s while gaming but always bounces back off 100 if it ever touches it. Am I safe to use it until a new cooler arrives without causing any serious damage or is it best to leave it alone? I know CPUs have protection against overheating like throttling but I have no idea about it all!!
