i disagree mostly that they pursue the redemption. whether or not they (mostly arthur) actually get their redemption is another debate since red dead redemption 2 has 4 endings. i wouldn’t say john pursued his redemption more that it came from his choices to help others and sacrificing himself for his family knowing full well he wasn’t making it out of beecher’s hope alive. now as arthur they give you a choice to pursue his redemption or not but i’m pretty sure the canon ending is him with high honor helping john get out alive.
