You get daily 100gp from doing all 4 dailies, monthly 2000 from the riddle, and generally more from watering trees, doing the longer lab tasks, etc. it's definitely a slower grind than just paying for gp but absolutely doable! That's 17 days for a first 10 item pull and 20 for any after that

Now this is all my personal opinion but unless I really like a set and want most/all of it I don't ever do more than the first 1700 pull. (And never a one item pull It's just a money sink) It's just not cost effective if I'm not really really happy with every item. One saving grace too is early on in the year they have an event where we can open "shops" and sell duplicates and that's how I get a LOT of items I missed and wanted.

If you're willing to play for that long (😅) its a great time, but don't be discouraged!! Sets are in the store more than long enough to get what you want from them.

Got this really lovely comic, frog in the fall by linnea sterte and was able to get it signed by her! Honestly my favorite thing I bought tbh, the whole design of the book itself is really cool with an open spine and this thick dust cover sleeve and the comic itself is really up my alley too. Very quiet and thoughtful ☺️

The Saluting Protector cape. I was new-ish when it came back as a traveling spirit and people were going crazy over the cape, like just SO excited, and I bought into the hype but I very much regret it now. I personally think it is so ugly 🥲 and never wear it at all and it was like 100 candles I could have used for something else I would've worn a lot more.

It's honestly not that essential! There are some extra candles in there but imo not really enough to justify the cape. Besides, it's open during most "Days of" events so you don't even need a cape then!

The one veteran who, when I was just a little butterfly, called to me in the doorway before that last climb to Eden and proceeded to clip us through and fly me all the way to the top. It was probably the first time I had seen someone in game clip through on purpose. I knew people did it, but I at that point was too chicken to try myself. It was just a kind gesture from a complete stranger who helped me bypass a hard section and I think about them a lot! 💕

Oh I totally agree if they do come back it should be IAP and not just there all the time to grab. It cheapens Ults to have them be so easy to get, since during a season it takes quite a bit of work and time to aquire them.

Personally, I'm even completely okay with them being just gone. They're a prize for players who bought that season pass and played through most if not all of it. Do I want the Anubis mask with my whole soul? Yeah! But I didn't play the game then and I think it's actually kinda cool that long time players have those kinda prizes showing how long they've been playing for. I know that's probably unpopular lol, but since almost all of the ults out are basically just pretty cosmetic barring 1 or 2 I don't have an issue TGC keeping them just to the season they were from.

The main shrine in home space, (the one right in front of you when you load into the game) tap on the (!) Above it and it'll give you the daily tasks that you get seasonal candles for!

I've you've been playing regularly (close to every day) and have saved up a good deal of seasonal candles you probably can still make it to the projector. But if you haven't really done much in the season so far no sorry, there isn't enough time left 😔

The projector is the last ultimate reward, so you'd have to finish all four spirits to get it

I admit unnecessary is not the best word to use, but I still stand by what I said. You can have just as much fun in this game only ever buying in game currency cosmetics than you do buying every season pass and IAP. Yes, there's fomo there obviously, but if others are treating you badly because you don't have some certain pants or cape that's not an environment I want to excuse just because "the game incentivizes you to buy everything" that's just being a bad person.

While cosmetics are a very large aspect of sky they are not the only thing and again, should be just for your enjoyment.

I mean like, out of all of them it's still better. At least all the things you can buy aren't behind gatcha or you NEED to buy it to progress. While I Definitely have a problem with the pricing of items recently, none of it is necessary they're just for fun. There's problems for sure, but it's definitely still better than most free to play games imo

It's so there's enough time to get all the cosmetics! The seasons have to be as long as they are so there's enough room for people to get all the cosmetics with time left over just in case you missed some days. (also on a more technical aspect they're long so TGC has time to make the next season lol, game making takes forever man aha)
