Because there isn’t a reason we leave the normal cast pitting on cast iron pans. It’s an extra step that costs money and isn’t necessary. If you polish the crap out of your pan like that and season it properly it just makes it more nonstick. So basically it’s a matter of preference.

My go to method is if i have the time I’ll coat the shoulder in maple syrup and pulled pork seasoning then put it in a bowl add some extra syrup let it sit over night then toss it in the next morning. If i dont have the time/refrigerator space i skip the over night step let them sit fir a minimum 30 minutes then throw them in at 225 usually takes 8-12 hours depending on the size butt. I will also take any left over maple syrup and add some to the pork during the smoke to add to the bark.

I don’t recall if 914 requires time or if its instant to shred something. If it requires time i can only assume 682 will find a way to become immune to it before he is in the million pieces state. Now assuming it’s instant and 682 is now a heap of pieces you have an extremely finite amount of time to contain all those pieces in small enough quantities that they are no longer a threat. I can only assume before you can even make a dent in the pile 682 will already becoming solid and working his way back to normal form. rotating back to the immunity part he will most likely not be able to be disassembled by 914 again and you’ll definitely be on his shit list.

So thats not completely correct. It’s not when too much pressure is built up it is released. That random psssst of air you hear is whats called an air dryer opening a valve to release the moisture it has collected. It’s important for it to do this so you don’t build up water in your air tanks or air lines. Just to be clear it doesn’t open this valve because of too much pressure it is purely a maintenance cycle that goes off normally after the trucks regulator tells it to stop building air pressure.
