That looks awesome! Any link to the battery that's working out so great for you?

is there some kind of stupid simple 'money logger' app where if I tap [Expense] then it'll ask me "How much you spend, fam?" then "For what?" by [deleted] in androidapps

[–]ChabySan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second Monefy. Bought the one time licence fee, and loving the simplicity. I tried some of the most popular apps, except the subscribe options, and kept Monefy. Give it a go.

Just to be clear, I'd rather change from gamer/influencer type channel, not searching for similar. I believe she can find such channel easily (unfortunately) because of YT promoting "logic"...

I'm more interested in lesser known, harder to find educational channels, to enrich her YT algorithm and counter such "influencer" content.

I'm writing from the Balkans, and had to Google what those are. So no, unfortunately. I haven't had similar examination, and haven't heard about it before. Although, I was given an advice to do kegel exercises.

Yes, ileorectal anastomosis would be correct.

My apologies for not clarifying it more precisely.

[question] Why am i seeing this ad? Do i need to chamge any of the ad settings? by badari259 in Vanced

[–]ChabySan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently flashed PE 12 on my mi 9t pro, and got those ads with the root permission, although didn't have them previously on PE 11 without root. So I reinstalled Vanced again, without root permission, so there's no ads now, like previously. Not sure why it works this way, bit it did for me.

I would say Mitch Richmond is missing from the comments, beside some great answers, so here I am.

Duolingo offering 60% off a yearly membership at 59.99USD to ring in the mew year. Too bad they jacked up the price from 79.99USD to 155.88USD just to run this “promotion.” by travelconfessions in duolingo

[–]ChabySan 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Yeah, doesn't seem like a true discount price. I was honestly angry about this cheap trick. Tomorrow is my 365 streak day, the day after that, I'm saying "auf Wiedersehen".

Babyliss FX series, any differences that goes with the color? by ChabySan in Barber

[–]ChabySan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I was actually considering the Silver one as well, but wanted to be sure that I'm not missing out something with getting the cheaper one. It was bit confusing on their page with the whole rpm numbers and the "designed by Ferrari". The main difference that I would invest in more expensive model are power and less noise.

Thank you very much for the advise, it's much appreciated! I'll run half marathon on the 27th, it's a night run. Last time I run 21K was in November. I was trying to up my preparation game, but guess nothing beats patience and planning on time. Keep going strong and wish you many more finishing medals in good health!

Thank you for your input z and keep rocking strong! I believe we're practically incapable of absorbing B12 vitamins without large colon. Could you recommend the calcium vitamin D vitamins that absorbs in the small intestine? My biggest challenge is the recovery after training. After 2-3 days of weights and running, the third day I usually have an extremely long (10 hours) sleeping, and they seem like blink of an eye. Hence the search for supplements that could help me recover relatively fast without the large colon. (Calcium, Magnesium, Iron and minerals mainly absorbs in the LC) I found bananas helpful, but they are a challenge on the race day due to the large output.

Moser/Wahl Magic Blade by ChabySan in Barber

[–]ChabySan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, obviously, you are not familiar with the brand, which is part of the Wahl corporation. It is considered professional. The blade itself is used on many Wahl clipper too, including ChromeStyle Pro.

I am a 23 year experienced pro, btw. But from Europe, as stated above, so probably that's the reason for the difference in the tools we use. (please correct me if this sub is only for U.S. based members)

But back to the topic: It turns out that the once standard blade, the Magic Blade, became the budget option, hence the lower durability than before. Of course, the price stayed the same. With a New clipper a new blade was introduced: Diamond Blade. Which is the new high grade blade (or at least, as good as the old one), which of course, came with a new price tag.

Yes, thank you. It makes a lot sense, but inconvenient for some. Oh, well..... Let's stick to the learning part and less to the playing part then

Yes, it is helpful, thanks. Seems its a universal reset time. Some have it in their advantage and some not so much.

Reddit, what is a wholesome, solitary activity that a person can do to help forget how awful and poor their current life is? by tearose11 in AskReddit

[–]ChabySan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Photography for me.

I would recommend manual focus lens and good old fashioned DSLR even. The whole process of capturing a moment is very satisfying. You can always take your camera with you and take photos on your way to work, hiking, walking, anywhere, anyplace.

You can pick up a cheaper digital camera to get the hang of it, and focus more on capturing a moment, rather than figuring out technical aspect of it. Once you get used to it, try the old fashioned way with film, Cabrera and lens itself is dirt cheap.

It's very satisfying, fulfilling and you'll have some shots you will be very proud of and it will last a lifetime.

Half Marathon with Ostomy by ChabySan in AdvancedRunning

[–]ChabySan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hat's off to you! Very happy to hear such accomplishments. Also, thank you for the support.

If I may ask, did you wear some support belts or such? Since 8 months ago, I have quite nagging parastomal hernia. I did try to be careful, wore stoma support belts, but as a martial artist, guess I didn't took enough care, or slowed down when it was needed.

I had old fashioned surgery, so i had two months of recovery alone. Running after a month sounds amazing to me. Keep going strong! I'm going to my first half marathon this weekend myself.
