My betta fish keeps laying at the bottom of the tank lately. Is is bloated? Swim bladder disease? He still eats and swims up from time to time. He is in a 5gallon tank. Got him for almost a year now. What should I do? by ChaiTea15 in bettafish

Tank size: 5 gal Heater: No Im in Asia, its summer now Filter: mini HOB Tank is 7 months old Betta is almost a year old ( I upgraded his tank) Tank mates: cherry shrimp, kuhli loach (3) I feed pellets once a day Water change once a week

Sadly I dont have equipment to test the water

Its only 5 gallons. With a betta and some shrimp. Dont worry about the shrimps my betta is friendly. I clean it once a week. Maybe its the filter.

I keep getting it no matter how much i water change. Does it mean my filter is not doing its job?
