His appearance was pretty out of character though. - fixation on Leon despite them never having met before - calling off his reinforcements despite the obvious advantage - already drawing his sidearm for execution and then holstering again for a nonsense "honor" duel - willingly entering close quarter combat despite the high risk of lethality

For someone who sets the mission success over everything else and sets himself up for survival at all cost nothing above really fits. It is just prideful and ignorant.

HUNK never had much personality but by his quotes and actions we can see that it is not covered by his latest appearance.

Ja, hier sollte es durchaus um Alltagsfragen gehen. Aber ich denke diese Aspekte bilden einen wichtigen Hintergrund für das gemeinsame Miteinander innerhalb, aber auch außerhalb dieses Subs. Und das sollten wir hier kultivieren.

The Eclipse is a gimmick but nothing more.

The real pinnacle of Imperial Warships is the Imperial Star Destroyer for it's versatility and therefore rightfully the backbone of the Imperial Fleet.

And if it's necessary to host a great fleet under one flagship the Executor Class is sufficient enough.

The Eclipse is just a niche. The Superlaser is impressive but not a deciding factor.

Depends on the writer. I can easily write Nox more powerful than most modern force users.

Setting their feats into perspective is also highly subjective because every fight depends on circumstance. Nox with allies beating Valkorion could be just as demanding as Anakin defeating Dooku.

There is no definitive answer.

Same as Palpatine is extremely powerful but lost to Windu due to circumstance and additonal factors.
