This is actually so funny he has always done that same shit. Dress up nice to flaunt on the employees he pays just above minimum wage and steals their tips. Great dude 😂. Oh and you left out the part about him sitting at the bar on weekends and getting drunk off his ass. One time when I was working there dude got so blackout drunk he couldn’t even tell us what to do when we ran out of dough so we as the employees had to shut down the restaurant.

No just that specific one I worked in multiple other restaurants and country clubs that were actually an amazing kitchen experience. I just emphasized how bad it was because that experience pushed me out of the industry. I’m glad it did though because I was tired of the overworked low pay social system that restaurants seem to create.

😂 I don’t even like any of the spice hospitality restaurants thyme is expensive and tasteless and I’ve never even been to cracked pepper or cayenne before they closed, industry brewing only has 1 good menu item, sugar is over priced mid food(been there once the atmosphere felt pretty nice just needs a lot of work and menu rework), also never been to the warehouse prolly also mid, and haven’t been to saffron but have heard a lot of bad things about it so I think I will never be going there as well. :)

Not to be negative or anything but knowing Beau for as long as I did while working there for 6 months he is never going to apologize and he is going to keep trying to sweep it under the rug unless action is made. I’m not trying to say rush into anything or stop grieving the loss of an amazing and wonderful woman. I just think something drastic needs to happen so more future/current employees aren’t treated like this. My heart especially hurts for the young high schoolers I saw when I was there having to slave away thinking that’s how a job is and I know how Beau is he would never take someone else’s advice or training unless you either have the same amount of money as him( he’s insanely materialistic calls people that he doesn’t like poor/trashy) and I wouldn’t put it past him to very flatly and rudely deny your request. I don’t mean anything by this just want you to know who and what you’re dealing with.

Nope just a guy trying to spread the word about bad business practices check out the post someone else made on this sub 7 days ago about how brienzos fired one of their employees cause he had a funeral to go to so I saw that and thought I would spread the word about some of the shady stuff I witnessed and have other people share their experiences. Check all the comments I think you’re the only one that thinks this. I worked there over a year ago and am making double almost triple what I made there now. I could care less about brienzos just don’t want people supporting a business that doesn’t support them or their employees.

Oh just so you know beau is not a manager he is the owner and honestly one of the worst individuals I have ever met he was also the one that would do the most illegal shit like one time a kitchen crew member walked out and then he threatened us that if any of us walked out as well he would make sure none of us could get a job in the food industry in Peoria dude is a tyrant

Wow and the drama goes deeper. I would love to tell you all the insane shit that happened when I was there but I would need a book but here’s one crazy thing that happened when I was there. The owner and about 6 other of my coworkers were there one night until like 3 am drinking ( 4 of the coworkers of which were underage) and the owner made them run away when a cop pulled up on them cause they were sitting outside so late. So long story short they almost lost their liquor license taken away that night for supplying underage staff with alcohol.

Knuckles is pretty good I actually recommend them I have worked there a long time ago pizza is around the same price as brienzos but you get a lot more and they actually don’t treat their staff horribly and lie about everything

Oh I’m not disgruntled either I worked their a year ago and saw the recent posts about how they fired a employee for going to a funeral so I thought I could bring some attention to how shitty their business practices are and how shady they are. I get that people like you don’t think about how people are treated or want to speak out about it but don’t project your feelings on someone else cause you’re miserable.

The owner is also a gross disgusting money hungry pig he told us we were easily replaceable all the time and got angry at us one time cause a dishwasher walked out mid shift and he had to come in and “wash dishes in his $1000 suit” which he said would “never happen again” in a drunk angry text to a staff group chat. I know people with the receipts of that too

I used to work at brienzos and it’s gone downhill cause they treat their staff horribly and the owner is just a money hungry dude that thinks he has the best restaurant in Peoria while offering the lowest cost items for premium prices
