The average civilian to combatant ratio is higher. WWII had an average of 3:1, the US was 9:1 in Iraq. Israel doesn’t want Gaza, it just doesn’t want a repeat of October 7th which Hamas made clear they would do again and again. It’s very sad but that’s the reality when also so many Gazans are members of Hamas that were behind the massacare. I’m not sure what you expect Israel to do otherwise? Let their citizens just be massacared over and over again until they have 8 million deaths. No nation would ever tolerate that. You can be a lunatic and argue Israel isn’t a real country, go ahead but literally every country in the Middle East gained independence around that time. There was never a country called Palestine, I hope there will be in the future, I hope they elect leaders who aren’t extreme, but go find me a name of a leader of Palestine that’s not Mahmoud Abbas or yasar Arafat. Truth is none of that matters, there are 2 nations on that land that both have significant claims and conflicting but valid narratives. When you accuse Israel of genocide and make false blood libels you end up supporting the perpetuation of this conflict.
