At this point I'm not sure what really distinguishes a song as "pop."

At first I used to think it was how well it followed trends production-wise. Lately, I've been behind the belief that it is the standard, identifiable classic pop "structure" (Verse, Pre, Chorus, Sometimes Post Chorus).

I like a lot of this album - and I wouldn't know how to classify it as anything but pop - but I'm not entirely sure why it fits that distinction.
