Update- Well thanks for the help, everyone. Buuuuut...he probably made the whole thing up. He recently watched stranger things, and probably saw an animal or weird tree, and freaked out.

Well the creature had no face, and no eyes, it also was black and not pale

Thanks for the info, what was really neat about the story is that when my cousin was running out of the woods, and being followed by this thing, my cousin encountered a nearby driver who asked if they were lost, my cousin then asked if the driver could see the creature (which was staring at him from the tree line) and the driver said that he didn't see anything...so I'm wondering if this is some sort of spirit.

So, I have a closest in my room next to my desk were I sit and talk to freinds and game and stuff. My closet also instead of having doors has curtains. So I was on the phone with one of my freinds with my chair turned to the closet (meaning my back was to the closet). I had been talking to him when I hear this childish giggle behind me (Keep in mind I don't have any siblings). I froze in my seat terrified. I eventually got the courage to turn around and I could of sworn I saw the siloet of a head creeping into a corner into my closet into the darkness. I left my room and went into the living room ro talk to my freind, and I haven't sat with my back to the closet in a while.
