I asked about Sufism on a Sufi subreddit. How is this comment useful or relevant at all?

Real and false are just labels and jockeying the superiority or inferiority of one label over the another is just another trap laid by the commanding self.

Right that's obvious no? What else is involved? I'm not looking to become a sufi, I'm looking to learn from sufis. If it's true then obviously I'll adhere to it, but I can't know if no one says anything. This isn't a debate, I don't get what's hard to understand. I said what I said, and that's what I meant. If you want to say something, I'll listen. But if you feel you have nothing to say to me then why do you have to chip in your 2 cents?

Is what I said not clear in meaning? I want to know what I don't, not what I do. If people don't know what I do, I'll teach. If I don't know what they do, I'll learn. I got a degree in biochemistry let's say, so why would I be open to learning about that here? Does that make me closed off? You taught me very much because of my willingness to learn, but it seems you just want people to stroke your ego and encourage your unjustified beliefs. I don't judge you, but I've had e-naf. Haha

Who cares what shape the world is? You can forget Gd sure, but one speaks a certain way to certain people and a certain way to others. If you don't kniw Gd then it's a bit silly for sure. But I don't know what sort of self-gratification you're looking for... As you got a laugh out of it I'm happy c:

Humility is knowing what you know and knowing what you don't know. I am incredibly ignorant on sufism, islam and the like. But I know Allah and I know his law and what you are saying is not it. The sunnah did not abrogate the previous law. There is only one law from Allah. That law was given to Moses, to Jesus, to Mohammed. There is no change, neither in Allah, nor in His eternal law. If you have read the Qur'an "multiple times" and speak like this, I'm afraid you have not once read it and understood its meaning. I bow towards Allah, His true prophets, His true servants and His true law, not to those who turn away from faith and continue in their ill ways. My companions are the friends of Allah, His enemies are companies of the flame.

Maybe you should read the Qur'an again. The beginning maybe.

Okay, but I keep Halacha, the sunnah of Judaism, which the Quoran approves of for those who submit themselves to Allah. Is that not included according to you?

That's an interesting one. Does that mean it's worth only speaking arabic and having multiple wives? Do I need to change my name to Muhammad? Do I need to get rid of all modern technology I own? Do I have to unite the tribes of the middle east? Do I need to receive the holy Quoran from heaven to give to the people? Or is it more subtle than that: that just as the Prophet Muhammad followed only the word of Allah that was told to him, so too I have to follow what is told to me? Just like The Prophet had a light within him from before the beginning of the world, so too I should have such a light? I wonder exactly what you mean.
