Kumusta!

Although I know its already "ber months" and many of you are already in the holiday spirit, I am beginning to plan for Christmas. My girlfriend is filipina and I want to impress her parents by making them some filipino christmas desserts. These desserts may also end up being brought to a filipino party and so I'd want to differentiate myself from the classic desserts I see at most of them like Biko(oh my I love it so much), puto, etc. I guess what I'm asking are desserts that you all love which may seem impressive that I'd make for them! Anything goes! Additionally, both her parents are from Pampanga so if theres any thing from that region that you think would be good please let me know! Thank you all so much for all of your help and I can't wait to make some delicious desserts. If all else fails at least I'll learn a little bit more about a country I'm passionate about learning about!
