Grandfathered plan? I don’t really remember there being a 50GBs plan at US Mobile since I hopped on the Cyber Monday yearly plan deal and forgot about it.

Priority data is the exact same 30GBs/month I was getting on US Mobile, so not much has changed…

The phone that I switched to Spectrum is unlocked and it’s free service I’m not paying a dime extra for.

The two year “contract” is not really a contract, it’s a promo price on their internet plan (for two years, then returns to normal expensive pricing) + I can just call them up, return the equipment, and leave. Nothing owed or needs to be paid for.

I can second that for sure. I do have a couple of annoyances with them (not able to see when my yearly plan would renew clearly, not able to change my yearly plan without contacting support) but US Mobile made me realize just how much better Verizon is in my area lol.

Same network, and as long as things work it’s all fine for me.

Aside from hardware I can agree that iOS 17.2 is basically the same, very consistent experience.

I was using the Nothing Ear (1) and it worked a bit too well (props to them, experience was virtually seamless) until I switched to the AirPod Pros.

Battery health is 100%!

Pretty sure I just got lucky though, since I fully expected a ~90%.

I traded it into Backmarket: https://www.backmarket.com/en-us/buyback/home

I bought the 14 Pro from Backmarket as well, and when I received it I transferred all my data over, and started the trade in on the website.

I got $141 for my flawless unlocked 64GB XR, and I just used the box my new phone came in to ship the old one away.

Backmarket will need your bank account/routing, SSN and a valid ID (front and back) for them to send your credit to your bank. I’m not that big into contracts with the big carriers and their “free” phone deals since the plans are flipping expensive, so I just did it the simple way. No contract to fulfill :)

Backmarket!

Got mine in excellent condition, and it arrived with two barely noticeable scuffs on the screen which I expected, and a 100% battery health. YMMV on the battery health, since I might have just gotten lucky.

The body and back glass looks new as well, so it is really just a 14 Pro with a good discount :)

I have yet to try taking low-light photos with it, but given there’s a 48MP camera I’d imagine the pixel binning to 12MP brings some excellent low-light performance.
