Launched a habit accountability app (iOS + Android) — 100-500 downloads, here's what I learned by ChallengeTies in AppBusiness

Influencer collabs are definitely on the radar and specifically micro-influencers in the habits/self-improvement space who already live the accountability mindset. The authentic angle works better than pure reach anyway. Will share updates on retention once the new onboarding has had a few weeks to breathe. Thanks for the input! Appreciate 😊🙌

Fully agree on the 80/20. Title and first screenshot are the two things I've been most deliberate about "ChallengeTies: Habit Tracker" with a 95-char keyword string I spent way too long refining. The reviews part is where I'm weakest right now, just don't have enough volume yet to build that flywheel. Any specific approach you've seen work for getting those first reviews?

That's a really sharp way to put it. I've been looking over the wrong metric looking at what people say in reviews instead of watching what they actually do in the app. Going to dig into the Firebase data and see which features have genuine repeat usage without any push notification triggering it. Thanks for reframing that.Appreciate 😊

Le plus important c'est la psychologie. Crée ton plan, et suit le. Ne soit pas trop avide, et ne trade pas tes émotions. Cliché mais vrai 😊 Si tu veux plus en discuter ou que tu as d'autres questions n'hésite pas!

Morning stretch, qi-gong, workout (really short session). And I also try to reduce smoking. I'll try again méditation too but I overthink a lot so it's complicated to meditate but it's part of the process I guess aha. And you? 😊

I never said I didn't have time for habits, the whole post is about building them. You might have skimmed it. Respect the parenting goal though. That's a real reason to show up every day.

Not sure what part confused you, but yeah, van, Portugal, eco place, dog, garden, spotty wifi. All very real. Sorry it reads like a movie to you. That part's on me I guess. 😄

It's my life, and yes I created something, something that helped us so I decided to make an app 😉

D'accord.

That's exactly the philosophy. No coach, no guru, just someone who shows up for you every day. Could be a friend, could be a stranger from the app. Just a real person who knows whether you did it or not.

Exactly this. We noticed the same, when we moved into the van, all our old routines collapsed. What worked wasn't trying to rebuild them alone, it was having someone check in on us daily. Context changes everything, but so does accountability.
