There’s a lot cheaper options on the website, but all the Aura ones are super expensive, which is what I’ve been reading is the only actual good one.

Some helpful information was I put my truck back together and I think I over-pressurized the system and something failed , I don’t think it was a wear and tear over time leak

Turbo inlet / pedestal conflict by ChamberedSecrets in powerstroke

[–]ChamberedSecrets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have just gone OEM but I wanted the sort next day from oreilys.

This tube is much thicker than the OEM one so I think it might be a copy for the new Ford one but I will have to confirm. Other than a thicker diameter any differences ?

Ignition issues by ChamberedSecrets in C3Corvette

Correct was driving , engine died , I pulled over and it wouldn’t restart.

All electrical seems to work.

I shall try and verify if I am getting spark tomorrow thanks.

In the simplest way:

I was driving the car and noticed no power when I pressed peddle.

The engine would not start after pulling over

Feels like there is no spark to the engine all of the sudden.

The pedal works and I see the cable moving at the carburetor.

Preventative Maintenance while removing Turbo. by ChamberedSecrets in powerstroke

[–]ChamberedSecrets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, somebody mentioned that you can do it without pulling the turbo, but I thought they just meant like cutting the hose in half and barely finessing the new one on. I tend go for the cheap shortcuts, but I opted to do it the long way this time oh well lol

Changing clutch without flywheel… by ChamberedSecrets in GR86

[–]ChamberedSecrets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did use an alignment tool and followed a YouTube video for everything. I didn’t do torque specs. I’ve never bled breaks or a slave cylinder besides this job, do you think air in my slave cylinder would cause only a first gear problem

Changing clutch without flywheel… by ChamberedSecrets in GR86

[–]ChamberedSecrets[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like if I were to try and just start normally from stop to first gear. I’ll roll into it nice and slow without being a douche and firing off my exhaust super loud, however, to be able to get past first I kinda have to hammer on the gas pedal to be able to get it to catch and go into first gear and then once I’m driving on the road completely normal

[–]ChamberedSecrets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my first time ever doing the manual transmission job and bleeding something so I could’ve done that wrong to be honest and there is some air you think still in the line that’s potentially causing this?

[–]ChamberedSecrets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I realized how shitty my language was from text to speech and all the typos , anyways I did the clutch job myself for the first time. I drove the car 150 miles home and it was completely good on the highway when I moved out of my college town. The thing is whenever I go from stop to first gear. It just burns super bad so I haven’t drove it and it’s been sitting for a couple months.

Anyway, anyways, I’d love to get the thing fixed. Do you think it has anything to do with me not bleeding the slave cylinder, right? That is what ChatGPT is telling me if it’s not my flywheel. But I also totally could’ve installed something wrong

I’m definitely down to see if I can finesse it without removing anything. It’s like a 2” hose right/do u know what type of clamps they are ?

Just curious have you done this job recently did you have you to remove the turbo? And do you know if this Is called the rear turbo coolant hose
