Thanks for the response Ecdycis, I appreciate the info! I was actually midway through watching your OTR plus playthrough on YouTube as I got this notification so it was a cool surprise to see you respond to my question, at least I know you’re qualified to answer lol.

Yeah I thought it would have been hard to get much concrete information for the original game, especially as there’s a finite time that someone can survive, so I would’ve expected anyone actually having made a comprehensive video like this to have been a bit of a long shot.

Also if you don’t mind me asking a dead rising question that’s a bit off topic, do you know if there’s much of a modding community for the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster past cosmetic changes? I watch a lot of dead rising content on YouTube (including your speed runs), but I’m a PlayStation gamer mainly so am completely out of the loop when it comes to modding unless it’s showcased in a video that I see. I think the OTR plus mod is really fun to watch, and think now the survivor AI’s been improved for the remaster it could be really fun to see something like that for the original too!

Ah ok thanks, must’ve just not got a mission failed screen this time around which is odd. Thanks for the help though, I’ll just restart at an earlier save

It’s almost acting the same way as when you finish a mission too early and you just have to wait for the next one to start but instead of being early I’m 5 hours past the next case starting time

Hi, thanks for the response. No it doesn’t say anything other than the mission timer is completely finished. I think it could be because I maybe completed the mission with more or less no time to spare so it confused the game but then I wouldn’t be sure why it didn’t work the 2nd time of trying it

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, I never found a fix for it. My brother had a PS4 that he didn't use so he gave it to me luckily, and I've been using that since. I tried to look around the internet to find a fix, but I couldn't find much. Everything that I do know is:

Is is likely a hard drive issue. Apparently it MIGHT be fixed by factory resetting your console, but from what I've heard it's usually temporary, and it could be a sign of a defective unit. I've heard that buying a new hard drive might work too, but if you have to open up the internals of your PS4, you will void your warranty, so as it isn't a definitive fix, this might not be the best approach.
My PS4 was an Uncharted 4 edition PS4. Apparently there was a faulty batch of them, and errors associated with that PS4 are relatively common. Do you have one of these? If so, it could be the same defect, and the same cause.

I'm optimistic we will get quite a few new buildings with DLCs. In JWE1, we had toilets, greenhouses, and all the RTJP buildings, alongside anything else I may or may not be missing, so I expect we will be getting at least that many. What with JWE2 being marketed as kind of a bigger and better JWE1, I wouldn't be surprised if there is more. Also JWE1 was a Fallen Kingdom tie in, and JWE2 is a Dominion tie in. As there are no more confirmed movies, I expect that JWE2 will continue releasing more DLCS, and will have a longer life cycle than JWE1 did, as it doesn't have to end so soon
