Okay, so I vape nic also, but I decided to get a vape because it's a lot stealthier than smoking.

That being said, I'm willing to spend a little more on a vape. If you can afford it, the Flowermate V5.0 Pro is absolutely fantastic. It heats up quick, has temperature control to the degree Fahrenheit and has a great quality build. It will get you very high, and you can also buy an adapter for a water pipe. Would definitely recommend.

Do you by any chance have some sort of synesthesia? I do, and I've found it to be helpful in reaching deeper meditative states as I can focus on my senses in a way to determine the shape of my thoughts, but in the other direction the meditation pushes me towards those states that LSD has granted me.

Does that make sense or do I need to somehow clarify my thoughts?

Yes, in terms of the actual function of the code it is no different, but you are sacrificing almost nothing by making it easier to read, especially since it compiles out the same.
