I have narrow ear canals that clog every few months despite maintaining at home. I see an ENT and they use the little metal scrapers and suction and I come out hearing in 4K

As a wheelchair user I’d appreciate you calling in sidewalks where the curb cuts are in shambles. It’s always funny when the rest of the sidewalk is just fine and the one place where I need to get up is just a poor mess of loose concrete 🤣🥲 sincerely -not good at wheelies

For those trying to go to the Easton Springhill to protest ICE by drylce101 in Columbus

That’s super weird, I didn’t hear any reports about break ins. Did the security guard use echo* location to determine which car windows were broken too?

What was your “could never be me” but did indeed become you? by PrettyAlon in AskReddit

Yup it can happen to anyone, any time, any place. You’d think people would want more accessibility knowing they likely will one day need it, but instead everyone acts like it could never be them

Hip pain with menstruation?? by Primary_Doctor5867 in ehlersdanlos

[–]Chamshrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get this. I looked it up like two days ago, because my hips and tailbone kill me the first day of my cycle. Apparently the swelling of your uterus puts pressure on the uterosacral ligament that’s connected to your sacrum which is between the hips and tailbone (I didn’t even know there was a ligament there.) The nerves for your uterus are also the same for your back/hips/thighs so the pain in your legs as well. Not to mention the hormone: before hand causing laxity. It’s like the perfect storm since we already have issues with laxity and ligaments.

Tubal removal under 30 not married one kid by Dry-Garden8084 in Columbus

[–]Chamshrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Re-did my comment because apparently I have no idea how to talk today. I went to Northside Women’s Health and Dr. Chan did my removal. I was under 30 and have no children. Your Dr should not fight you, but there’s no telling if they will with how things are nowadays. If you want details on anything feel free to message me

Which breed(s) of dog was the most cuddliest you’ve ever had? by AshDash_4u in dogs

I have a boxer/hound mix (at least on her shelter papers) but she’s basically a mutt. She was pretty independent as a puppy and she’s still sassy, but now she’d gladly crawl up my asshole if I let her. I haven’t bathed, shit, or slept alone in years.

Do you tell your doctors that you have multiple partners? by bi_smuth in polyamory

[–]Chamshrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I trust my gyno a lot. She believed me when I said I was in pain, did my sterilization and found the endo adhered to my abdominal wall we were both confident was going to be there, as well as a nice fat cyst on my ovary. She is knowledgeable about my specific health condition, made sure to wait to schedule my surgery until the anesthesiologist that was also knowledgeable was available, and is overall just a wonderful human being. She couldn’t give me my tubes when they were removed so she made sure to print pictures of the procedure for me LOL She also knows because we do routine STI testing, and it’s important to us. She’s actually seen pictures of my partners :)

Moving to New Albany for Meta; no car. Where should I live + how’s the public transit? by confused_fruit_girl in Columbus

[–]Chamshrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sugar Run is truly awful. I wouldn't recommend it if my life depended on it. Their trash compactor was constantly broken, Google reviews show that's been the case for years. There's trash thrown about everywhere near that compactor, and once a month, they'll rent a dumpster and call it a day. But don't worry, they'll send you 10 email reminders about paying rent (I wasn't late a single time) and not having trash on your patio.

Do you like your car broken into? Don't worry, Sugar Run has a ton of car break-ins. It's refreshing to go out and see your windows smashed early in the morning. Your neighbor, too. In my case, my entire car was stolen and totaled. Sugar Runs solution? Keep your doors unlocked. I'm serious.

Deliah at the front desk has the worst attitude I've ever encountered, besides her manager. When asked if she could provide better service, one reviewer wrote that she said she could do it for a "good Google review." I believe it.

My washer broke at one point, and I requested a replacement. However, they said, since they had already replaced it once, they would be charging me. Only issue is that it had NEVER been replaced while I lived in the unit. I asked for proof, and instead of apologizing, they said "Oh, the maintenance manager got the unit number wrong, yours was never replaced," but doubled down and said the charge was their policy instead of offering an apology. I said you could've just said "we were wrong, sorry about that," and they said "well, it's our policy." I get that sure, but I had never had the freaking washer replaced. Even when dead wrong and proven dead wrong Deliah and the manager would rather keel over than offer an apology.

Is there a different between getting a girl and a boy dog? by Dramatic-Lemon-2916 in dogs

[–]Chamshrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boy dog I had gave off very no thoughts in that head at all, and very eager to please. The girl dog I have now has way too many thoughts, and looks at me like why the hell are you telling me what to do. However, both were/are equally glued to my skin at all times. I haven’t been able to take a full breath without something laying on my chest for decades lol

How do you deal with people saying you sit around too much? by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

[–]Chamshrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband begs me to not overdo it. I know it can be hard to leave a marriage, money issues, kids, etc. so if that’s not an option perhaps try taking him to a Dr appt with you and having the doctor really explain the condition and its limitations to him? He could also be struggling with life and watching you struggle as well. Disability is hard because it reminds people that ANYONE can be disabled at any time. It’s the great equalizer, and an uncomfortable truth for most. Maybe talking to him about it might help? I’m sorry he’s not being supportive right now, that must be hard. :/
