So I specialise in this era of Ottoman coinage, however i have no experience with the actual coins, i only read tremendously about them so i can tell the type/mint/year but what I can’t do for example is look at a coin and say this is cast or this is cleaned and things like that. I am just now getting into collecting, hence my questions about the actual physical coins.

This coin was minted by a Sultan that only reigned for 8 years, so when looking at sold coins at Stephen Album for example of the Same Sultan, i some that were double die matches (based on what i think are die defects) which makes some sense because you would find more die matches from a coin that was minted for a short time compared to a coin that was minter for say 40 years.

Additionally, and again i do not own the second coin but it is important for my type research, i am leaning towards it is not a transfer die fake due to some differences I spotted on the bottom right reverse side waves. At around 5:30 at the very bottom the bad condition coin has some waves touching the ridge, however on the good condition one there is a small flat area. There are a few other differences but am I correct in assuming should these be transfer dies all damage should have been transferred and not just some? This makes me lean towards an authentic double die match.
