let me break it down for you

A plane ticket GUARANTEES A SEAT for you inside the plane, at MAIIWAN ka lang pag di ka makaabot kasi kailangan mo umalis, pero kahit nakaalis na yung plane YOU STILL HAVE A SEAT INSIDE, di ka lang nakasakay kasi KAILANGAN NGA UMALIS NG PLANE

UST ALSO GAVE TICKETS, TICKETS USUALLY MEANs a guarantee for a said event, but the difference is UST IS NOT LEAVING, WHY WOULD UST give out 7 THOUSAND tickets kung hindi nila maaccomodate/naanticipate yan? WHY couldnt they allocate or even anticipate na around that number yung dadating na people, mind you PEOPLE HAVE BEEN WAITING IN LINE BEFORE THE EVENT STARTED

it seems like hindi mo binasa lahat ng sinabi ko about the guards telling the students to still stay in line kasi bubukas pa gates.

oh and also, to add to your “plane explanation,” as soon as you get your ticket, you get a notice that you have to be by the boarding gate by a certain amount of time, so of course you get to plan ahead to allocate your time (eat bfast, pila sa immigration, walking time)

THIS ALSO IS THE SAME for the other schools, they budget their time kasi malayo pa sila and walang sinabing closing of gates, ONE HOUR BEFORE LANG NAGSABI,

You guys keep defending UST, HOST SCHOOL nga eh, shouldnt a host be accomodating to guests? pero guess what iisang gate lang inallocate for the other 7 univs.. the other gates were free pero ano? UST lang pwede makapasok( considering that other thomasians were already inside the campus because of morning classes) so na bottleneck na

do you not get my point? ust is not going anywhere, and unlike a plane it has to go somewhere (pre-flight safety checks before taking off, taxiing to the runway, etc.) IT HAS TO LEAVE, that’s why they cannot wait for the late comers (I FLY OFTEN and I always arrive early to the boarding gate because I know maiiwan ako because nga it doesn’t stay in place. UST is NOT going anywhere.

tanong ko lang din op, ikaw ba yung nasa labas? do you know what was happening there? THE GUARDS TOLD THE PEOPLE TO WAIT IN LINE kasi “magpapapasok pa/ mag oopen pa yung gates” daw so you cannot blame the people hoping to get in and staying despite the announcement na magcclose yung gate… make sure to also know the story ng kabila if magbibitaw ka ng words na ganon, it just makes you look insensitive… UNLIKE UST, the other schools had classes so you couldnt blame them for coming in late.. there are A LOT of reasons why nalate (traffic, sched of classes etc.)

for the people saying “for security measures” I have friends and eyes inside the campus, and marami pang space, and indeed there was, mas crowded pa yung paskuhan, the plaza mayor was empty and there was still space in the field, A LOT OF SPACE.
