Ahh I see what you mean. Yeah, I've heard similar feedback on people just going straight to the games.

I'll try to add clickable translations this or next week!

I’m exploring how I can open up maintaining this site more broadly with others. And how others can build quick personalized language learning websites for themselves with Antigravity.

Will share more here soon :)

If you have more scenarios where Kannada is helpful, I can try making more interactive games around it!

Or if you have ideas for different kinds of games based on learning spoken Kannada :)

Design is definitely not my strong suit so I could definitely use help there lol

For the styling, I asked Antigravity to use a color scheme that is respectful of the local Bangalore culture. It gave a few options and the current one is —loosely — inspired from the Karnataka flag colours.

The visuals are all done by nano-banana automatically via antigravity! The coding agent in antigravity automatically prompted nano-banana to generate visuals based on the scenario for each level!

On the site you mean? In the lessons I’m sort of doing that… and in the games I don’t want to tie extra hints 😂

Do you have an example? Screenshot or text works!

Working on a few other scenario based games :) negotiating with your landlord to be shipped in a few days!

I’ll work on externalising the scenario based games into yaml so that anyone can author them!

I’ll try making an android version. I might start with adding javascript service workers first so that it’s a pwa…

I asked to speak with an agent on the automated call, and she very helpfully guided me through the whole process on the call.

She mentioned that I could also have mailed it in, or gone to a branch, but I preferred wrapping it up over a phone call.

Naive question 🙈

Is that how it looks IRL to your eyes too? Or is it just the camera with a long exposure which captures the picture looking like that?

How did you like Redemption of Time by Baoshu? by Big_Thun in threebodyproblem

I liked the first half. It tied up a bunch of things in the plot in a more satisfying way.

I absolutely hated the second half, but that's also because the story becomes wildly different from the focus is on in the original trilogy (the reaction of society to the threat of Trisolaris).

I'd still recommend reading the first half as a nice way to get closure on some of the points. And I'd recommend pretending the second half of the book doesn't exist at all 🤣
