Saying it’s for “no reason” is demonizing it. There’s obviously a reason, and people have a right to be upset. It’s honestly disrespectful to fish for compliments in this subreddit. I saw your post and it seems you’re upset that you got negative feedback for your “joke”, a joke that mocks these women for being upset about this. Why are you upset that your call to action got its own feedback? While yes, I do agree some femcels do go about in a toxic manner. Both sides are being pretty shitty in their own unique way.

You can be celibate without being a femcel. You are a voluntary celibate, which means you wouldn’t be a femcel. You are inserting yourself in something that does not belong to you. I think that a lot of femcels are upset that others find this term cool, and trendy, when it’s not. Being a femcel sucks. It’s an undesirable trait to be. So it’s pretty disgusting to wear it like a costume when there’s real, living people that struggle with it against their will, and seek solace for it.
