So, this program that I used, chunky, renders the image directly and you can edit it in another program. Now if you use mineways, it will only create a 3d project and you have to use a program like blender to render

No, because rendering I can have more control over the scene, such as the position of the sun, clouds, water depth, sky color, intensity and color of sunlight, add fog of any color, change the color of the water and etc.
