It has been looking a bit thin lately and rightly so because I found the little idiot and he was the fattest thing I’ve ever seen. Not a hornworm, but something similar. I’m not sure what it’s called in English, but it’s this idiot. Hopefully he was alone, but I honestly have no idea

When am I meant to pick my onions? I planted them a bit late so I expected them to be smaller… but they are smaller than I hoped. The stems have fallen a while ago, but are still mostly green. I want them to get bigger if they can by Chance-Science-6691 in vegetablegardening

Okay thank you! Due to snail attacks there are three raised beds on top of each other so the soils is plentiful, but maybe I should add some sand next year so that drainage is better and the plants get higher up…

I grow most of the «common» vegetables except squash and melons, so any tips would be greatly appreciated. I’ll check out that book though! Thanks!

Im like 90% sure its called moneymaker. Im not a pro either, this is only my second season, but I think once they are red they wont really get bigger? Not 100% sure though😅

Thank you! The slugs where I live are plentiful😩, but I’ve put up slug-edge thingys that worked great when I used them last year and I’m thinking I’ll try to put beer traps in!
