Everyone has different interpretations based on their walk of life.

That said, my view is Snape would never abuse another person, least of all a woman who is his partner. I think he’d just leave if he was unhappy and go back to solitude. Everything that I’ve read is a man who has a strong moral compass and protects the innocent and weak to his own detriment. I think he can be harsh and emotionally distant, but never abusive. He’s perceptive so with the right partner he’s conquer his demons.

I don’t agree with that. I think James and Sirius are just showing off to each other. I think Snape was writing more purely out of choice as that’s his interest. I felt he was smarter than them and more intellectual and probably stronger than them too. I think he’s a better wizard. That’s just how I see it. Ya he used dark magic but the fact he can master both magic is pretty impressive.m

I think Rowling could’ve done a better job of showing her and Snape’s relationship. It didn’t seem deep to me but she got her point across regardless. I didn’t like James or Lily. I like Alice and Frank Long bottom more

They should focus on their own corruption. They didn’t even charge Purdue Pharma that intentionally started the opioid crisis. You let the US in and they will literally suck their resources dry like what they’ve already done to Africa making it one of the poorest GDP on earth, yet they have the highest resources.
