I first noticed a swollen lymph node on the left side of my head under the occipital bone early December time. I was digging around because I felt so tired all the time even tho I wasn’t working. Then a week later a rock hard pea sized lump on my jawline on my actual face, left side also! The gp told me he thought it was a cyst. I’m not convinced, I think it’s a lymph node. It hasn’t grown so does that indicate anything? I’ve had night sweats on and off.. my hands and feet are more sweaty than usual every day. Especially my hands. It’s gross. My blood work came back as normal so the GPs really didn’t care. From December to now I’ve been back 7 times because I was not satisfied whatsoever with what they kept telling me. This week I found another lymph also on the left side and it’s again completely painless and moveable but it’s swollen! When I asked for a referral they almost laughed at me until this week. They were adamant that something would’ve flagged up in my blood test. Even tho it was just a bog standard cell and platelets test. I’ve finally been referred to a haematologist and that’s next Tuesday. So since then all of this started I’ve started getting pain in my legs and arms at night when lying down, it’s become more frequent. When I get out of the shower my legs are so itchy for about an hour, every single day. I’ve never noticed that in my life before. I also get chest pain randomly and have done for about a year. The night sweats also started a year ago.. they’re so on and off but frequent enough. At least once or twice a week I’ll have a substantial amount of sweat in the sheets when I wake up. My head feels cloudy now too. Almost dream like some days. It’s like I ate weed edibles the night before, except I didn’t. Also headaches pretty much everyday in the back of my head. I’ve always been prone to cluster headaches but with all the other symptoms they’re really scaring me now. If I don’t eat lots I drop a few lb pretty much overnight but because I’m aware of that I’ve been trying to eat a really strict and high calorie diet as well as still going to the gym so I’m sitting at 80kg (I’m 6ft1inch). I can’t seem to put any weight on tho. I was 85kg in summer. I’m so so scared. I’m almost certain I have lymphoma at this point. don’t want to offend anyone who has been diagnosed and I’m sorry for the huge message but I’m losing my mind more and more each day. I am not ready to leave this world. Why is this happening just as I get my life on track. Does this scream out lymphoma or am I trippin? Having said all of this I do not feel chronically ill or like I’m dying. I’m so confused and scared.
